Fortnite Semi Auto Sniper (Legendary/Gold)
The Legendary/Gold Fortnite Semi Auto Sniper Rifle is received with wildly mixed reviews but has enough pros to be listed here. It has a 10-bullet clip, which is more than enough seeing as two should kill anyone. It has large bullet drop and can be challenging to use well in a sniping battle, seeing as landing a shot on an enemy will often wound them whereas they might be using a Bolt-Action capable of killing you immediately. It’s often used as a scouting device.
- Color: Gold (Legendary)
- Thrill factor: Moderate to high. For the reasons explained above—having a snipe-off with someone who has a Bolt-Action—this gun can be exceptionally thrilling because you need to successfully land several shots and not be hit a single time. Of course, not having reliable one-shot strength makes it a pain.
- Popularity: It’s the easiest to find the Legendary weapon in the game in loot because most people will take even a blue Bolt-Action over it. Horror stories of it failing when the user needed it are numerous, making it almost a peer pressure issue to say it’s garbage when, in fact, it does not deserve a lot of the anger.
- Odds of finding the weapon: Though finding one at spawn is unlikely, it’s often left in unwanted loot later in the game.
- Interesting Note: Some players like to use it as a close-range weapon, which is a bad idea in a lot of ways, because of it’s large clip and the substantial damage it puts out. For every lucky quick-scope, there will be a dozen deaths.
The Legendary/Gold Fortnite Semi Auto Sniper Rifle is one with mixed reviews. Some people praise it heavily and others abhor it, making my advice to simply try it for yourself. It’s most recommended for new players who have difficulty judging their shot since it can be fired multiple times in succession.
