Fortnite has achieved enormous success ever since it brought out the Battle Royale addition to the game, which is absolutely free to play. It is one of the most popular games on Twitch and is being played and followed by millions. How to Get V Bucks in Fortnite guide was created to help players to earn as much of the in-game currency as possible so you can invest it into new outfits, harvesting tools, gliders or anything else you can buy from the in-game store. You can even buy a battle pass or battle bundles with V bucks, so pay good attention!

Before we start off we have to clear one thing up; Fortnite was initially not a fully free to play game. The main game mode is the so-called Save the World, a quite popular player versus environment setting that existed long before this game got a free Battle Royale mod. In order to play Save the World, you need to choose a founding package, but you can play Battle Royale for free. The main source of income for this game is the sales of cosmetic items through the in-game shop.

However, epic games have decided to release Save the World game mode for free as well sometime in 2018. If you want to start playing the mode right away, you can still get one of the founding packages and jump right in. Or you can simply wait for the full game to go free at some point.

It is important to know that the majority of ways to earn in-game V bucks requires players to have Save the World.

Save the World

Now, the most direct and easiest way to obtain V bucks would, of course, be to go and buy them for real cash. For many people who are working full-time and simply cannot afford themselves to play this game for hours and hours to earn V bucks, this presents the best possible solution. On the other hand, if you have a lot of spare time on your hands and the will to play the games and fulfill varieties missions and tasks, you can earn massive amounts of V bucks without ever spending a dime of real cash!

Every time you log in you will receive a daily reward, and after some 10 days, you will start getting actual currency. However, you need to have in mind that this is possible only for those that have Save the World mode of Fortnite.

Daily Quests for V bucks

The main source of V bucks for the majority of players will always be the daily quests. After you finish the main storyline in Save the World mode, you will get access to daily quests. Each day you will receive one daily mission that will require you to go and destroy something specific, scout something or maybe even complete a certain number of missions by a certain type of hero. The “daily destroy quests”are usually something along the line of “destroy three fire trucks, propane tanks or arcade machines”. It will be up to you to travel the map and find all these items on your “to-destroy” list. All of these quests will give you at least 50 V bucks as a reward.

Here is a list of all daily destroy quests currently in the game:

Constructor, ninja, outlander, and soldier will give 50 V bucks each for three completed missions. There are also quests where you need to complete three missions in a specific area each, where the rewards can go up to 100 V bucks.

If you miss out on completing a quest on a specific day, another will be added the next day, up to the maximum of three, but afterward, you will have to finish one of these quests in order to receive a new one.

Storm Shield Quests, Challenges, and Events

Storm Shield quests are yet another way to earn in-game currency. These missions are spread throughout all the four areas of the game and you unlock them as you progress throughout the main storyline. There are six missions initially, but you can unlock more through future side quests. These missions provide the player with 100 V bucks.

There also challenges that appear in the game during the storyline. These can be completed up to 10 times and provide 50 bucks every time they are successfully finished. Once again, you will need the Save the World mode to be able to access those.

Every now and then there are specific and very interesting events in Fortnite. The most recent one is called “Solo showdown”, a mode which is essentially the well-known Battle Royale fight, with a slight twist this time. As you play in the solo showdown you will have a score which will determine, after 50 games, what your final ranking will be. Placing first in the match rewards a person with 100 points and finishing up within the last 25 will earn a player 25 points. After 50 games have been played, the top player of all 100 on the list will receive an award of 50,000 in-game V bucks! Second, third, and fourth place will earn 25,000, while finishing anywhere from 5 to 50 will yield 13,500 V bucks. Positions 51 to 100 are going to reward the players with 7500 V bucks.

When considering that the most expensive items in the game are around 2.000 V bucks each, then it becomes obvious how much money 50K V Bucks actually is. Riches!

This event is a clear example of how profitable these games can be, so make sure that you participate in all Fortnite events in the future in order to rack up some serious winnings! Events like these will provide Fortnite players with additional ways to make V bucks and will change the metagame. We are looking forward to more of them
