Pros:

  • Affordable
  • Has high HP despite being a caster build

  • Cannot run elemental reflect maps

Skill Gem Setup

  • Core: Flameblast with Ignite Proliferation, Deadly Ailments, Combustion, Burning Damage, and Infused Channeling support gems
  • Curse on Hit setup: Curse on Hit with Armageddon Brand and Flammability and Elemental Weakness support gems
  • Utility: Spell Totem support with Wave of Conviction
  • Buffs: Malevolence, Anger, and Clarity
  • Mobility: Flame Dash
  • CWDT Setup: Cast When Damage Taken with Molten Shell

Gear Setup

  • Weapon: Searing Touch (Unique) for bonus fire damage by percentage and +2 to level of Fire skill gems, or Martyr of Innocence (Unique) for 100% and 379-574 increased fire damage, chance to block, and freeze/chill immunity
  • Body: Kaom’s Heart (Unique) for increased life and fire damage
  • Helm: Hrimnor’s Resolve (Unique) for increased fire damage, armor, life, cold resistance, and chill/freeze immunity after casting a fire spell
  • Gloves: Rare Warlord and Shaper gloves for increased damage over time
  • Belt: Rare Warlord belt for either increased fire damage or fire damage to burning enemies, with increased damage using ailments
  • Accessories:
    • Amulet with increased fire damage, level of fire skill gems (Warlord), and fire DoT (Shaper)
    • Rings with either elder prefixes: fire damage to attacks and skills or chance to Ignite and add fire damage (Elder), fire damage, elemental damage, and increased damage with ailments
  • Jewels: any Jewels with bonuses to fire damage, fire DoT, and increased burning damage
  • Flasks:
    • Seething Divine Life Flask of Staunching for life recovery and bleeding immunity/removal
    • Chemist’s Granite Flask of Iron Skin for 3000 Armor and +91% Armor
    • Chemist’s Quicksilver Flask of Curing for increased movement speed and poison immunity/removal
    • Chemist’s Quartz Flask of Heat for chance to dodge attacks and spells and chill/freezing immunity/removal
    • Chemist’s Sulphur Flask of Warding for Consecrated Ground and curse immunity/removal
