While World of Warcraft players have been amassing gold for over a decade already, being able to gather relevant and useful info regarding making gold has always been a daunting task – until now. Presenting – the ultimate WoW Gold Farming Guide!

Now you’ll have the chance to read some pretty revealing information that’ll help you skyrocket your gold-making potential. Sure, crafting, trading and providing services are all viable options for amassing gold, but the farming part often gets overlooked by most players.

That’s why today’s post is entirely focused on helping you with your gold farming goals in 2018. And apart from some interesting and profitable farming spots that you probably didn’t know about, we’ll also share with you the most accessible and most straightforward that’ll guarantee you stacks of gold!

What does “farming” mean in the first place?

Farming is the recurring process of gathering particular resources with the intention to make a profit. You can farm a myriad of things, but all of them fall under one of the following three categories:

  • Gold
  • Items
  • Materials

And these resources can be obtained by two things:

  • Killing mobs
  • Gathering raw materials via the gathering professions (skinning, mining and herbalism)

Oh, and don’t forget that rolling a Goblin toon is your best bet if you want to maximize your gold-making potential, thanks to their neat racial called Best Deals Anywhere.

Now, since everyone loves killing mobs, we’re now going take a look at the five most valuable farming spots that require you to kill stuff.

The 4 best farming spots in 7.3.5. to help you stack up on gold

Some of the farming spots below will definitely shock you, but you’ll realize that they’re pure gold (pun intended) and they’ll inevitably cash in big time by farming in any of these locations.

1. Uldaman

Gold earning potential: 25k – 70k (per hour)
Location: Badlands, Eastern Kingdoms (Azeroth)

Restocking low-level transmog and Uldaman go hand in hand. This is a classic dungeon of vanilla that’s been around since WoW’s initial installment and it offers some fantastic gold earning potential.

Each Ulduman run will reward with a few thousand gold and on top of that, there are a plethora of rare transmog beauties, which cost a fortune on the AH that can drop in the same dungeon, such as:

So, it’s safe to say that the gold-earning potential of this instance is, to put it mildly, mind-blowing.

2. Shadowfang Keep

Gold earning potential: 12k – 215k (per hour)
Location: Silverpine Forest, Eastern Kingdoms (Azeroth)

Did somebody say restocking 18-22 transmog? Oh, well the ideal place for that is called Shadowfang Keep – a lowbie dungeon dating back to the glorious vanilla days that’s currently a great farming spot.

Doing Shadowfang Keep runs won’t be very time-consuming and the earning potential is quite spectacular. And although most of the drops will be disenchanting junk or just not-so-great ones, there are rarer transmog drops that can more than makeup for that, such as:

Burnished Mail set

Bandit Garb set

The Spellbinder collection

Note that some of these items are super, mega, uber rare (like 0.5% drop rate) and it’d take you quite a few runs (depending on your luck) to acquire them.

3. Twilight Outposts

Gold earning potential: 10k – 150k (per hour)
Location: Silithus, Kalimdor (Azeroth)

These farming spots are located in the north-west part of Silithus, and the two camps (they are next to each other)  that you should focus on are named:

  • Twilight Post
  • Twilight Base

Now, in order to get the most of your farming efforts in these Twilight camps, you’ll need a lvl. 58 toon. Unarguably the fastest and easiest way to do that if you don’t have any characters at this level is to create a Death Knight and storm to Silithus.

As for the actual gold potential of these two spots, it’s probably enough to just mention that you have a good chance of getting a transmog gem (not literally), known as Glorious Legplates (costs 154.926 on the AH) that drops from the Twilight mobs there.

4. Felspore Bog Lords

Gold earning potential: 10k – 100k (per hour)
Location: Blasted Lands, Eastern Kingdoms (Azeroth)

By heading over to the Blasted Lands (where the Dark Portal was initially opened during TBC) and going to a particularly obscure region called The Tainted Forest (the southwestern tip of the whole area). This place is level 57-59 tansmog galore!

Needless to say, by farming this spot you’ll be able to get your hands on a hefty amount of transmog gear that you can then sell for profit.

Also, since we’re talking about Blasted Lands mobs here, these Bog Lords might drop Imperfect Draenethyst Fragments. These neat fragments can be then turned in at an NPC that goes by the name of Kum’isha the Collector and for each piece you return, he rewards you with some fresh gear that by selling, you increase your revenue even more.

Wrapping it Up

Farming gold in World of Warcraft is not exactly rocket science, isn’t it? By focusing your efforts on particular zones in the game, you’ll be able to generate a healthy amount of gold per hour, so that you have plenty of it to spend on whatever you feel like spending.

Still, farming is time-consuming and it might be a struggle for those of you who have jobs, families and other real life responsibilities. What do you do then – is there a solution that will still earn you boatloads of gold, only with a few simple clicks?

Well, there is and it’s called the authentic Player Auctions WoW marketplace! This is where you can buy gold at affordable prices so that instead of wasting your time on farming gold, you’d be able to enjoy the game to its fullest.
