Soulmask has a more unique aspect than other survival games because it allows players to recruit random and former hostile NPCs to their side. There are multiple tribes you can scout for different units, and these Barbarians will also have various perks and talents that will impact how well they will fit your command. However, their list of positive and negative talents would be necessary, as they will dictate whether or not you should keep a Tribesman. 

Why are Talents Important

Soulmask Talents play a significant role in determining the strength of your tribe. Stacking on tribespeople with many positive traits can make your experience much more accessible. In addition, if you want to change your current playable character, being able to hop on to a different tribe mate with lots of positive aspects can open new opportunities for you.

How Do You Acquire Positive Soulmask Talents

Unfortunately, you can’t control what talents your Barbarians will get; what they possess will be random. However, you can increase your chances of creating a stronger tribe by recruiting low-level NPCs. Barbarians have a chance to unlearn negative talents every five levels and are guaranteed to get positive perks every 10. Essentially, you want to recruit tribe members with many positive talents and a few negative ones at their lowest level to increase their chances of developing more valuable characteristics.

  • Increase movement speed by 30%, ATK by 10%, and ATK Speed by 30% for five seconds after successfully dodging attacks.

Endurance (Upgrade Talent)

  • Gain an additional 80% DEF and +30 Resilience after fending off an attack

Endurance Burst (Upgrade Talent)

  • Recover 30 Resilience and gain 10% DEF that can stack when you successfully defend against an attack while Stamina is above 60%. You enter Burst Status once you reach five stacks, which increases damage dealt by 100% for six seconds.

Enemy Down Fervency (Upgrade Talent)

  • Gain a stack of 4% CRIT, 4% CRIT Resists, 4% CRIT DMG, 4% Movement Speed for 30 seconds after killing an enemy within 10 minutes (stacks up to five times)

  • Gain +3%/6%/9% DEF

  • Increase the chance of triggering probabilistic talents by 10/15/20%

Extreme Dodge (Upgrade Talent)

  • Recover 35 Stamina after dodging attacks
