How to Use PoE 2 Loot Filter
Path of Exile 2 players mostly farm to get the items they need for various purposes. Some will have to explore or slay a horde of mobs. Picking through the drops is difficult, especially if there’s a lot of loot. Luckily, fans of the games have players covered with their loot filter.

What is PoE 2’s Loot Filter
The Loot Filer was developed by NeverSink, who made the filter for the first rendition of the game. After defeating bosses or mobs, the filter lets players choose what items to highlight. Players can customize the visuals and sound to notify them of the loot dropped.
The player has complete control over what the filter can highlight, from gold to even bases. This filter is an essential tool for players that should be implemented in the game.
How to Download
Since the Loot Filter is a third-party tool, you’ll have to implement some files in the game’s folder for it to run. Here’s how to download and install the filter:
- Go to FilterBlade to download the tool.
- Once the file is downloaded, put the file in the game’s folder. You can type this in the command window: %userprofile%/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2
- After uploading the file to the game’s folder, open PoE 2, and you’ll find the filter in the Game Tab.
How to Use PoE 2’s Loot Filter
NeverSink’s Loot Filter is easy to use and has many features players can customize. Here’s a guide on how to use the filter.
The Loot Filter has settings for how strict the players want the filter to hide. It starts with Soft and goes to Uber Plus Strict. The setting helps players in endgame stages or new players find the right drops.
The Loot Filter also has customization for how the tool looks. Players can change it to its default, dark mode, and custom sounds. This customization allows players to be notified through specific sounds for certain items.
With fine-tuning and a little customization on the player’s end, the filter will be a helpful tool in PoE 2. Here’s an overview of all the items the tool can filter:
