Pokémon TCG Pocket Trade System
The Trade System in the game is pretty straightforward. Here’s what you need to do:
- Choose one friend to trade with and send a trade offer.
- Then, choose a card you want to send that friend and offer it to trade. After you send the offer, wait for their response.
- You’ll be notified when you get a response. View the card they’re offering and press OK.
- Once an agreement has been reached, the cards will be traded.
Here are some other rules that need to be followed for trades to work.
- Trade stamina is needed for trades to happen, which replenishes over time. You can use items, such as Trade Hourglasses, to reduce the time.
- Trades can only be done with cards of the same rarity. Players will need trade tokens to trade high-rarity cards.
- Trade Tokens can be obtained by having multiples of the card. You can find the Obtain Items tab in the game’s My Cards tab.
Is The Trade System Worth It?
The Trade System is simple, but the use of tokens and stamina makes it seem more like a money grabbing tactic. Players were expecting more of a system where all they needed to do was pick one card and trade it with a partner. Fans have shared that the system is too greedy. Many have complained that you shouldn’t have to spend money just for trades to go through. Besides that, fans have called for the developers to remove “TCG” from the game’s title since it’s not a proper trade system feature.
