Marvel Rivals Teases Human Torch and The Thing Gameplay
Marvel Rivals has teased their two new heroes coming to the mid-season update: The Human Torch and The Thing from the Fantastic 4. Here’s everything you need to know about the two new heroes.

Human Torch Gameplay
The Human Torch is going to play the Duelist Role. He can fly around the map and shoot his fireballs at opponents. He has an AOE attack where he crashes down with an explosion. The Human Torch’s Ultimate seems to be a firestorm that he needs to build up before it can deal damage. All of his attacks are very fitting for the hero.

The Thing Gameplay
The Thing is going to play the Vanguard Role. Based on the gameplay, he focuses on close-range attacks. He seems to fight similar to a brawler, with a leap, a rush, and an AOE attack. The Thing’s Ultimate seems like his other abilities, but he gains floating rocks around him. With the addition of The Thing in Marvel Rivals, the Hulk has a new Vanguard similar to him that he has to deal with.

New Human Torch and The Thing Skins
In addition to the gameplay teaser for the two heroes, streamers got early access to them. And thanks to them, new skins for The Thing and Human Torch were revealed, which will be released alongside them.
The Thing
The Thing’s skin is called “Trench Coat,” which makes him wear a detective outfit. The streams also showcased the MVP animation for the new skin.

Human Torch
The Human Torch’s skin is called “Negative Zone Gladiator,” which features a monstrous side for the hero. In the streams, they also showed the MVP animation for the skin.

Release Date
