Best Mecha BREAK Striker Tierlist: Open Beta

With the Mecha BREAK demo finally out and the full roster of Strikers ready for analysis, players have already figured out what the current Striker meta is for both casual and competitive play. We’ve listed out every available Striker in the game from worst to absolutely powerful.
Table of Contents
D-Tier
Falcon
- Falcon is one of the earlier Strikers you can get but is also one of the weakest in the roster. Its entire skill kit is centered around a hit-and-run playstyle, which may seem viable in lower lobbies. However, its low damage output doesn’t justify its use in extended battles.
- The Falcon’s extremely niche scenario where it can shine is diving at low-health targets and securing a kill, but many Strikers can do just that with far more team utility.
C-Tier
Inferno
- The Inferno is an Ultra Heavy Striker that has some extremely powerful weapons in its arsenal, excelling at both close and long range.
- However, this Striker is also very slow for its class and has no means of really mitigating damage. If caught alone by two other enemy Strikers, it has no means of escape.
- In an ideal scenario, Inferno players can do well if the enemy team does not focus on them, but in higher-skill lobbies, Inferno falls off against coordinated teams.
Skyraider
- This Striker is a medium-weight version of the Falcon in that it also has a jet mode. The Skyraider offers a bit more team utility with its jamming missile and area-denial missile but is fairly similar to the Falcon in performance.
- It’s useful for defending sites, but its lack of any defined role in the team makes it a hard choice when there are better options.
B-Tier
Alysnes
- This Striker is in the middle of the road in terms of performance, being the most generalist mech with no particular strengths or weaknesses. It has a good balance of damage and survivability while being fairly accessible to new players.
- Alysnes is a good flex pick for players in team compositions, but its lack of specialization may hurt it in skilled lobbies.
Panther
- The Panther is a brawler Striker, as it has two melee weapons but no guns to help it in range. This makes it a risky option for many players, as it has a middling amount of Fluid Armor.
- It has good mobility and a shield to mitigate incoming damage, but its lack of ranged weapons makes it one of the more skill-demanding Strikers in the game. It can be very easy to get caught out in the open with it, but good players can make some plays with the Panther.
A-Tier
Narukami
- For a sniper archetype, Narukami has one of the best sniper kits in any game. It can melt enemy Strikers if it can land its shots and has plenty of evasive options in case things get too heated.
- It has a bevy of invisibility tools and clones that can help its user escape pursuers in case their position gets discovered.
- Its low armor makes it very squishy against coordinated teams, but in the hands of a skilled player, the Narukami can be a menace in many lobbies.
Aquila
- As a heavyweight variant of Narukami, the Aquila has a few good things going for it. It has a good amount of Fluid Armor while having a surprising amount of mobility for its weight class.
- Its sniper rifle deals good damage and can pressure a group of enemies thanks to its Multilock Radar tool.
- Its Flight Mode essentially gives it a second energy bar, giving Aquila one of the better mobility options in the game.
- While Aquila cannot mitigate damage, it can be an evasive mech that can reposition to pick off tough enemy targets.
Hurricane
- As with many defensive Strikers, the Hurricane excels at locking down objective sites with its ability to create lingering fields of damage that discourage enemies from approaching.
- Hurricane’s good for teams that can defend objectives, but it can be more difficult when trying to attack a position, as it does not have much mobility or firepower to push.
- It is a great option for objective play, but note that it shines best when holding a strategic position.
Luminae
- Luminae is one of the few support Strikers in the game alongside the Pinaka. It offers a highly valuable utility, which is raw healing, but it also has one of the weakest damage outputs in the game.
- Its healing range can cover multiple teammates while providing enough regeneration to keep dying allies in the fight much longer, but it cannot contribute much to the team’s damage output.
- For first-time support players, the Luminae is a great Striker to start with as it has a fairly familiar ability kit.
S-Tier
Pinaka
- Pinaka has some of the best support abilities in the game, as it can output not only some serious healing over time but with its Emergency Support Drone, can make Pinaka or any team carry practically invulnerable to all damage for a pretty long duration.
Welkin
- Despite being a frontline brawler, Welkin can easily outduel any Striker in the game, as its axe weapon can dish out insane amounts of health damage. If paired with its Duel Forcefield, Welkin can guarantee a kill on a particularly mobile target like Narukami.
- In terms of melee brawling, Welkin sits at the top of the hierarchy as it can parry and staggerlock while having more Fluid Armor than other melee Strikers.
Tricera
- Tricera’s kit allows it to stay in the most chaotic locations in a match, as its extreme durability makes it the perfect objective contester in the game.
- Not only that, but it can also dish out solid damage to anyone within range of its Gatling guns and howitzer cannon. In a game where objectives decide who wins, Tricera holds down zones all by itself easily.
Stego
- Like its other Ultra Heavy siblings, the Stego is one of the easier Strikers to play with, as it has a lot of Fluid Armor and a few defensive options to make bad plays more forgivable.
- It outputs more damage than the Tricera and is also easier to aim with, but its Turret Mode does not automatically parry melee attacks like Tricera can.
- Stego is a sidegrade to the Tricera for more offense-oriented players but is equally just as effective in team comps as the latter.
