This Hunter Symbol is a guaranteed reward for beating a Tempered Monster with 5 stars. These monsters are your best sources of Hunter Symbol I:

Hunter Symbol Uses
Hunter Symbols are one of the required materials to craft the last weapon in its crafting tree. Each Hunter Symbol corresponds to the monster you must slay to fully upgrade a weapon.
For example, if you want to craft the fully upgraded Arkveld weapon, you need a Hunter Symbol III, which is dropped by defeating the Arkveld or any of the Apex Predator monsters from each region.
