How to Increase Favor in Rise of the Rōnin
Increasing Favor in the game is how you can strengthen your bonds with allies and companions. Here are the ways to increase your favor with characters:
- Agree as often as possible in their conversations.
- Complete specific Bond Missions, which increases your status with them.
- Give them preferred gifts.
You can enter a Veiled Vow to make them your romantic companion by accomplishing them.
What are Veiled Vows in Rise of the Rōnin
Veiled Vows are the game’s romance option for characters. After you’ve done everything to increase your favor with a character, a gold banner will appear and say, “It seems that you two have something important to discuss,” alongside the character’s icon.
Talk to them and choose the dialogue option that says, “I want to take our relationship further” or “I’m falling for you.” by picking those options, you’ll form a Veiled Vow.
You can have more than one Veiled Vow, but you can end the relationship if you want to stick to only one. Go to the dialogue options with the exclamation mark and choose the option that says, “I want to go back to how things were before. ” This will end the Veiled Vow.
