Where to Find Gestral Beach
You’ll need to go to the Ancient Sanctuary to find Gestral Beach and take on the challenges and riddle. Start at the Ancient Sanctuary’s entrance and head Northwest. Head in that direction until you reach the sandy beach area. Continue walking in the area until you reach a gate. Head inside, and you’ve reached Gestral Beach.
How to Answer the Gestral Beach Question?
The challenge at Gestral Beach will start with an obstacle course. After completing it, you’ll meet with Gestral, and they’ll ask you a question:
“If I were a two-year-old human, at what age would I gommage?
The answer to the question is 17 years old. The answer is tied to the game’s lore. When a child in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 ages, their countdown of the monolith decreases. When they’re 17, their age and countdown will intersect. This means once they’re 17, they’ll gommage or disappear out of existence due to the Paintress’ monolith.
It’s the fate of every person in the world, and why the main characters in the game want to kill the Paintress. If you answered incorrectly, don’t worry. The Gestral will still give you the reward since it can’t perform math.
