What is Soul Trap and How It Works
Soul Trap is a Mysticism Spell that can be acquired once you’re at least level 25, since it’s an Apprentice Level Spell. If you don’t want to grind, there are various ways to get the spell without the requirement. You can either get the Scroll of Soul Trap or find a weapon enchanted with the spell.
Once you’ve acquired Soul Trap, you can use it when encountering enemies. For Soul Trap to activate, you’ll need to keep wailing on the enemy until they’re close to death. Once their HP is low enough, cast the spell, which is touch-based, and finish them off. When successful, a pink aura will surround the enemy’s body, with a notification stating, “You have captured a soul!” The soul will automatically fill the Soul Gem that fits its Soul Power. So, be sure to bring plenty of Soul Gems with you before farming for enemies.
