Complete Peak Monsters List

Peak isn’t your typical survival game. It’s a game where you and your friends will also encounter monsters and have to defeat them. The climbing survival game doesn’t have your typical monsters, but they do roam the island. Some of them won’t be a serious threat, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Monsters in Peak

Peak only has 3 monsters that you can encounter in the game so far. One of the monsters isn’t killable, and you’ll have to avoid it, and the other two mess up your gameplay. There are no updates on whether Peak will add more monsters, but be on the lookout; you don’t want to risk losing your chance at reaching the top of the mountains.

All Monsters List

Here are all the monsters in Peak, along with their effects on players.

Scoutmaster

The Scoutmaster is one of the most dangerous monsters in Peak. If you obtain the Scoutmaster’s Bugle and blow on it, the item will increase your stamina. The only caveat is that the Scoutmaster will chase whoever blew the bugle for several minutes. The Scoutmaster will chase you and grab you until the time ends or you end up dying from him grabbing and throwing you around.

There is no way to defeat the Scoutmaster; the only thing you can do is escape. A positive of summoning the Scoutmaster using the bugle is that you gain the Mentorship Badge.

If you want to gain stamina without using the Scoutmaster’s Bugle, you can drink water or find the legendary Bugle of Friendship.

It should be noted that the Scoutmaster doesn’t only spawn when blowing his bugle. For players who stray away from their partymates and manage to reach the peak without them, the Scoutmaster will also appear to punish them and will chase them down.

Bees

Bees are another monster that you should avoid. They’ll only attack you if you mess with their hive. If you’re in a group and want to get resources from the hive, use one teammate to lure the bees out, and the rest of the groups take the spoils.

The Bees will chase you down for a random duration, and their speed is also random. The only way to not get damaged by them is to keep running away until they stop chasing your character.

Ticks

Ticks will attach to your legs and burrow themselves deep. They’ll suck on your blood until the poison effect stacks up. If you’re playing solo, you won’t be able to notice the ticks until the poison effect takes its toll on your character. You’ll need to crouch and remove the tick from your legs. If you’re playing with friends, they’ll be able to see the tick and remove it for you.

The Ticks you remove from your legs or your friend’s can be consumed as food. The game considers them as berries. If you eat them, you’ll receive the Foraging Bond Achievement. It requires players to eat 5 unique berries, and the Tick counts as a unique berry. Logically, it doesn’t make sense, but you’re one step closer to completing your achievements.

There are only a handful of monsters in Peak, but if you encounter them, it’s best to avoid them or treat the damage they cause immediately. Stamina and health are vital to reach the peak, and you don’t want to waste your resources on treating the damage from the monsters.
