This game mode will be a sandbox where squads will have to complete objectives and do battle. The game will have Custom Loadouts available and unlimited respawns. This LTM will have various new mechanics added. These will include:
- Insane Powerups in this mode, which will give you loot with powerful Blueprints. If you find one of these weapons you’ll gain abilities you can use in the mode.
- Portals, which will take you to different parts of the map.
- Flying Shipments, which will drop from time to time on the island.
- The LTM also features Safe Zones where players won’t be able to deal any damage. They’re easy to find because they’ll be translucent domes covering the area.
- Scare Packages will provide players with loot and can be found across the island.
- Players will gain Torment Levels which will allow them to gain more XP per elimination. The higher the Torment Level the higher the boost in XP, but you’ll be more visible on the enemy’s minimap.
- Lastly Teriballs can be found across the map and if you decide to shoot, use melee, or run into one, the Terriball will be sent flying and eliminate any player who is hit. The last squad remaining in Purgatory wins the LTM.
