Best Diablo IV Rogue Build and Guide
Rogues have a long history in the Diablo franchise, stemming its roots from the first game with their specialty in the bow and arrow. They’ve since evolved with the Demon Hunter in Diablo 3 and now return to its original form in Diablo 4. Rogues in D4 have been a top-tier class choice for new and experienced players, outputting high DPS numbers.
This build centers around the use of Barrage, which currently has the highest single and AoE damage scaling for Season 5.
For all the abilities you should assign in your hot bar, get the following:
- Barrage
- Puncture
- Dash
- Shadow Step
- Shadow Imbuement
- Cold Imbuement
The game plan for these skills is simple. First, activate an Imbuement based on certain scenarios. If you’re dealing with large mob packs, use Shadow Imbuement. For elites and bosses, use Cold Imbuement. Once you’re ready, hit your targets with Puncture thrice to build up your Combo meter, which also applies Vulnerable to enemies. Finally, cast Barrage to deal high damage. Repeat until your targets are dead.
