AC Shadows: All Hidden Trail Locations
In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Hidden Trails are the game’s obstacle courses that reward you with XP, a skill point, and Epic-tier gear. As the name implies, these are located in secret areas that require some extensive searching. Fortunately, this guide will show you every single Hidden Trail location, how you can find them, and their rewards.
For this activity, you’ll need to play as Naoe since these are parkour-heavy areas. The Grappling Hook will be very helpful in these locations. Yellow paint will mark the right path for the chest rewards.

Path of Valor (Izumi Settsu)
This Hidden Trail is located within Senri Hills, west of Katano, across the river. You’ll need to jump over the gap to start.

Path of the Brave (Yamashiro)
You can find this Hidden Trail in the Eagle’s Nest area, southwest of Shoryuji. To begin, climb up the large tree trunk with small stepping platforms.

Path of Silence (Tamba)
Found in the Tamba Highlands area, this Hidden Trail is required to reach the Ruins of Kumoryuji Temple Viewpoint. Look for a waterfall and climb the wall next to it to begin the challenge.

Path of Wisdom (Wakasa)
The Hidden Trail is located on the western side of Mount Uchinakai, near a river. The path to this trail is marked by a waterfall on the mountain face.

Path of Peril (Harima)
The Hidden Trail is located on a mountain to the northwest of Kaya Shrine, or the northwest on the border. The Grappling Hook is mandatory for this path as there are many long falls in this area.

Path of Secrets (Yamato)
You can locate this Hidden Trail to the southwest of Katsuragi. There will be a large ravine with some grappling points, which leads to the path.

Path of the Blade (Omi)
This trail is located east of the Taga Shipyard area. The path will lead you to a waterfall area.

Path of Shadows (Iga)
You can find this location south of the Akame Shi Waterfalls area in the Nabari Wilds. Like the other Hidden Trails, there will be a large waterfall that marks the path towards your goal.

Path of Serenity (Yamato)
This area is between the Dorogawa Onsen and the Mitarai Valley in the Yoshino sub-region. Look for a torii gate that leads towards a small opening.

Path of the Chosen (Kii)
The last Hidden Trail is found on the beach to the north of Shingu. Stay close to the eastern coast to find it. This place will also contain the Yamabushi assassination target at the end of the path, so be ready for a fight.
