All Assassin’s Creed Shadows Legendary Weapons Locations
There are multiple Legendary weapons scattered throughout Japan in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Some chests are hidden in secret areas, while some can only be unlocked after clearing an enemy outpost. This guide will give you a complete list of all the Legendary weapons you can get and where to find them.

Izumi Settsu
- Bloodshade (Katana): The chest is located on a ship south of Amagasaki Castle in Osaka. The ship will have some guards on it, so be careful.
- Blush of the Earth (Bow): The bow can be found at the end of the Makino Kurumazuka Kofun location. You must use Yasuke to complete the puzzle in this location.
- Death Whisperer (Kusarigama): A reward for defeating The Wounded during the quest “Heads will Roll” at Amagasaki Castle.
- Igan Sunset (Tanto): In a chest located in Tozuku’s Lair after clearing the camp of all enemies.
- Shinobi’s Fury (Tanto): A reward for assassinating Wakasa during the quest “Defensive Position” at Osaka Castle.
- Steel Blossom (Katana): A reward for defeating The Fool during the quest “Lost Honor” at Yamazaki Castle.
Yamashiro
- Turquoise Zephyr (Katana): This weapon is located west of Shoryuji Castle. Travel along the trail until you see a broken bridge. Jump into the trench where you can find the chest near a broken cart.
- Yukimitsu’s Revenge (Tanto): The tanto is found in the Ancient Tomb of Nanjo. You’ll need Naoe to enter the tomb.
- Cascading Fear (Teppo): You can find this gun near Namikiri Fudoson Shrine, on a hill above the flame sculpture.
- Rage of Red Mist (Kanabo): The weapon can be found near the Grave of Buried Hopes. Look for three graves near a massive bush, then go right. The chest is right beside some red plants.
- Deathbloom (Kusarigama): The chest for this weapon is found in Sarumaru Shrine. Simply climb up the hill behind the main temple, where the chest can be seen right next to a small tree.
- Dragon’s Edge (Katana): A reward for defeating The Two-Faced during the quest “Topple the Traitor” at Shoryuji Castle.
Omi
- Venom Pillar (Kanabo): This weapon is found in Kajimiya Cemetery, southwest of Sakamoto. Head to the top of the cemetery, where the chest is located behind a massive boulder.
- Patient Harbinger (Teppo): For this gun, you can find it in Kamikoga’s Ippon Sugi. The chest is in a small hole near the coast.
- Featherstorm (Kusarigama): The chest is located in Kashiwabara Fortress, slightly southeast of Nagahama. First, go to the broken watchtower overlooking the fortress. The chest is on a corner wall outside the tower.
- Time-Honored Crescent (Naginata): Like the Featherstorm (Naginata), it is in Kashiwabara Fortress and a reward for clearing this outpost. You must kill the Samurai Daisho to unlock the chest for it.
- Heartspiller (Bow): This bow is found within Azuchi Hyotanyama Kofun, far east of the city of Azuchi. You must be Yasuke to enter and finish the puzzle in this location.
- Call of the Void (Tanto): A reward for killing The Godai of Void.
- Myth Slayer (Long Katana): A reward for defeating The Mourner during the quest “The Wheel Unmasked” in Hogonji Temple.
- Sage’s Reach (Naginata): A reward for defeating The Naginata during the quest “Showdown in Sakamoto” at Sakamoto Castle.
- Last Breath (Bow): Complete the quest “Requiem for Rokkaku” at Sakamoto Tower.
Iga
- Masked Death (Katana): This weapon is located within Shimagahara Valley, within a hidden grove encampment. Enter through the valley’s south and keep going until you see a bridge. Turn right and go past the bamboo to see a camp.
- Bloodletter (Kusarigama): This chest is found in Kashiwara Fort and is a reward for clearing the outpost. Kill the Samurai Daisho there to unlock the chest.
Harima
- Demon Tooth (Kusarigama): The weapon can be found in Arima Onsen. You can find it near one of the ponds.
- Artist’s Tear (Tanto): The tanto is a chest unlock reward for clearing Takagi Otsuka Fortress after killing the Samurai Daisho. Do not leave the fortress yet as there is another weapon inside a tomb.
- Death’s Bloom (Teppo): After clearing Takagi Otsuka Fortress, head inside Takagi Kofun within the fortress. Yasuke is required to clear this tomb and claim the weapon.
- Lethal Lotus Petal (Long Katana): The katana is located in Miyanoue Fortress and is an outpost chest reward for killing the Samurai Daisho.
- Yami no Kage (Katana): Clear out Hiraiyama Fortress by killing both Samurai Daisho. Once they’re dead, the chest in this fortress will be unlocked.
- Funeral Pyre (Bow): To claim this bow, you must kill the Samurai Daishos of Inariyama Garrison to unlock the chest for this outpost.
- Daybreak’s Fury (Kanabo): A reward for defeating The Ox in the quest “Broken Horn” at Miki Castle.
- Celestial Blade (Naginata): A reward for defeating Yuki no Kata in a duel during the quest “Nobtsuna’s Students” at Kakogawa Estuary.
Yamato
- Iga’s Flame (Katana): This weapon is located near the peak of Mount Nukai. Start by the Viewpoint on the mountain, then climb southeast. Lit stone lanterns mark the path leading to the chest.
- Vengeful Foe (Naginata): A reward for completing the side quest “The Tournament” in Yoshino.
- Boulder Fall (Kanabo): A reward for defeating the Katsuragi agent during the quest “Kurai Eikyou” at Katsuragi.
- Winds of War (Kusarigama): A reward for defeating The Wise during the quest “Darkness Falls” at Kofukuji Temple.
Wakasa
- Dynasty Ender (Teppo): This weapon is a reward for clearing Genbao Fortress after killing all Samurai Daisho.
- Claw of the Tides (Long Katana): West of Genbao Fortress is the Uchinakao Burrows. The chest can be found near the small river.
- Hero’s Message (Teppo): You can locate this gun in Hikidan-jo Ruins, just underneath the Viewpoint plank.
- Stone Heart (Kusarigama): The chest is located at the end of the Veiled Tumulus Kofun. You must play as Naoe to enter the tomb.
- Masamune’s Thorn (Tanto): You can find this weapon in Nochiseyama Castle after killing all 3 Samurai Daisho.
- Snakebite (Katana): A reward for defeating The Fox during the quest “The Performer” at Obama.
Tambo
- Lengthened Horizon (Naginata): You can find this weapon in Amanohashidate, placed right behind a shrine on the isthmus.
- Scarlet Fate (Tanto): This tanto is located in Chasuriyama Kofun and requires Naoe to enter the tomb.
- Tremor Strike (Kanabo): Located in Yakami Fort, you will earn this weapon after defeating every Samurai Daisho in the outpost and unlocking the chest.
Kii
- Tale Smasher (Kanabo): Clear out the Samurai Daisho in Saika Castle and open the chest to complete the outpost.
- Riddle of Steel (Naginata): The naginata is found within Shimosato Kofun and requires Yasuke to open the tomb.
- Loyal Traveler (Long Katana): The chest for this weapon is located west of the Kamikura Shrine Viewpoint. While in the wilderness, look for a stone-carved Buddha shrine with a couple of corpses on the ground.
- Lustrous Pearl (Naginata): A reward for defeating the Clifftop Yamabushi of the Yamabushi Imposters at the Path of the Chosen.

- Cerulean Nexus (Naginata): A reward in the Legacy Shadows Project Level 4.
- Cerulean Glitch (Long Katana): A reward in the Legacy Shadows Project Level 18.
- Cerulean Flux (Tanto): A reward in the “Awakening” Shadows Project Level 4.
- Cerulean Arc (Katana): A reward in the “Awakening” Shadows Project Level 18.
