All Persona 3 Reload Missing Person Locations in Tartarus

By | February 5th, 2024 | Categories: Others

As you progress in P3R, you will start monitoring the Full Moon since it triggers several tasks and operations you must engage in. However, some of the things indirectly connected to this event are the missing persons in Tartarus. While the Full Moon doesn’t cause them to become absent, they will be lost once the lunar body reaches its entire cycle. If you want to save these people before they disappear, then you need to learn where they are and when they go missing.

Missing Person in Tartarus Overview

Occasionally, you will get notifications from your Attendant that people have gone missing and have gone into Tartarus. These instances usually happen the closer you are to a Full Moon. You get the notifications in two ways:

  • Outside Velvet Room – You will receive a call in the morning from the Attendant.
  • Inside Velvet Room – You will be informed by the Attendant that they sense someone’s presence in Tartarus, and they can give you an estimate of which floors they should appear on.

After you receive the notifications, you can learn more about the missing person by visiting the Paulownia Mall outside the Police Station, where information will be posted on a bulletin board. You aren’t required to rescue these people, but doing so can provide you with significant rewards.

Be Wary of your Social Links

If you don’t want to go out of your way to save these people, then you should at least monitor two specific people. Two of your social links will eventually wound up missing, so you need to find them before the deadline unless you want to lock their social link progressions. Here are the following people you should always try to rescue:

  • Bunkichi Kitamura (Hierophant Social) from the Bookworms at Iwatodai Strip Mall
  • Maiko Oohashi (Hanged Man social) from the Naganaki Shrine

If you don’t rescue them, you can no longer continue their social links, which will lock you out of their rewards.

Tips for Missing Person Rescues

  • It will be more efficient to wait until the night of the next full moon to rescue multiple people at once. Most of these missing people share a deadline at the end of the lunar cycle. Doing so will let you find and locate them all simultaneously instead of individually.
  • Once you find a missing person, you can take them to the exit or call for an escort, which will task an inactive party member to assist them. Choosing the latter option is always better since it allows you to explore rooms you haven’t discovered yet. It is also the best choice if you are trying to save multiple people at once.
