Apex Legends Skins to Look Virtuous While Shooting Bullets

By | March 6th, 2019 | Categories: Others

Customization is now an essential part of every video game available on the market. Due to its diversity, some “skins” come with lots of variety and many different options. Their main goal is to give us options to improve the “looks” of our main characters and expand their possible lore. Similarly, the Apex Legends Skins gives us the option to customize different parts of the game. Therefore, we have now the chance to look good while we dominate in the famous battle royale’s arena.

Some of the skins available in the game are harder to come by than others. As a result, the “hard to find” customization options tend to appeal more to the eye. Consequently, Luck is always needed when you want to open some “Apex Packs” (These game’s loot boxes). Not worry though, in this article we’ll discuss another option that can help you in getting the better stuff that Apex Legends has to offer.

How are the Apex Legends Skins sorted out?

In Apex Legends, the skins appear in different Tiers. Each of these groups represents the difficulty for you to find one in the game, as the level of modification from the primal source. Furthermore, you can apply these changes to a Legend or one specific Weapon that are available in the game. The Tiers are divided as follows:

  1. Common
  2. Rare
  3. Epic
  4. Legendary

1. Common

As the name states, these skins are easier to find. You’ll probably get two of these when you open one Apex Pack. It seems like there are 16 Common skins available for you to unlock in the different options that you have. Most noteworthy, this Tier only focusses on changing the color of the “basic” skin. In other words, they show a different color palette.

2. Rare

This group is composed of a total of 15 different types of skins to unlock. Furthermore, you have a 100% chance to get at least one of these from every Apex Pack you open. Unlike the previous group of customizing options, the Rare skins add another sprite that represents the element that you want to change.

3. Epic

More variation appears in this group of practically five skins. Usually, the Epic skins tend to use a “Neon” color with an animated sprite. As a result, your favorite Legend or Weapon looks like it’s ready to party all night long in the arena. Specific animations can make any costume a lot better than the original counterpart. Lastly, you have a 24.8% chance to get one Epic item inside an Apex Pack.

4. Legendary

The best of the best belong with this group. Usually, there are only two legendries for a Legend or Weapon with one variant per skin, making it 4 in total. Being in the top of the food chain, they have a 7.4% probability of appearing in any loot box, with an even low percentage to get the ones you’ll probably like. Consequently, these items change the original model of a Legend or Weapon, adding new colors and themes.

How can I get those precious skins?

Many options can help you in completing your virtual collection of Apex Legends customization items. Between these choices, you can either spend a lot of time to gather the required sources or instantly with the magic of credit cards. Whatever the case it may be, here is what you need to begin your assembly:

  1. Apex Packs
  2. In-Game Store
  3. In-Game Currency
  4. Special Offers
  5. Possible Opportunities in the Future

1. Apex Packs

Here are your primary sources for gathering random skins in Apex Legends. Every time you either win or lose in a match, you get experience according to your performance in the arena. Furthermore, accumulating “exp” helps you in leveling your account. As a result, you always get one Apex Pack per level. In each box, there’s continuously a chance to acquire the legendary skins that this game has to offer

2. In-Game Store

In the main interphase of Apex Legends, you can easily find the store there. Similarly to any new video game, in here, you have the option to acquire cosmetic items for real money. At the time, in this store, you can only find Legendaries with Exclusives that are only available for a limited time. Therefore, you’ll need 1800 Apex Coins and around 10k Legend Tokens to get the exclusives for an item.

3. In-Game Currency

Besides the Apex Pack that you can get with every new level in your account, sometimes you also get the chance for some “Crafting Metals.” Depending on the amount of this currency stored in your inventory, you have the option to trade it for one skin of your choice. Most noteworthy, if you want one amazing Legendary skins from your favorite Legend or Weapon, you’ll need 1200 Crafting Metals to unlock it. Consequently, you’ll need 400 for an Epic skin, 60 for a Rare, and 30 for a Common item.

4. Special Offers

From time to time, there can be another option that can help you in adding more elements to your collection. First, we have some bonuses with Origin Access (Available only for PC and Xbox One); with this option, you’ll get $10 In-Game Currency, one Exclusive Epic Weapon Skin, and one Exclusive Badge. Similarly, you can “cash-in” another option with Twitch Prime. At the current time (March 2019), you can acquire one Legendary Pathfinder skin and five Apex Packs if you have Prime activated in your account.

5. Possible Opportunities in the Future

Besides the possible Game Modes that modders were able to find hidden in the game files, there were also a couple of mentions for an upcoming Battle Pass. Just like the competitors of the Battle Royale genre, you have the option to get exclusive skins for a limited time.

Skins for Days

There are lots of variety when it comes to Apex Legends Skins. Hence you have the chance to customize your favorite Legend or Weapon the way you’ll like. In contrast, being free to play and having the option to unlock almost everything with in-game currency brings a lot of appeal to the game. At the same time, we can only hope that better things will come, filled with extra game modes and additional customization options.

With the inclusion of a possible Battle Pass in a near patch, we’ll have another option to support the brilliant work from the developers. And just like any of Apex Legends competitors, there’ll probably contain remarkable skins that may make us look gorgeous when we are fighting for the number one spot.
