ASTD Tier List

All-Star Tower Defense is one of the most popular Roblox games. This version takes on the typical Tower-Defense games, but players get to field anime-inspired characters to protect their territory here. There are so many units to collect in the game that gamers might confuse about who to obtain or trade. Fortunately, this ASTD tier list will help people know which characters to aim for, doubling as an ASTD trading tier list.

All-Star Tower Defense Unit Types

Like many tower defense games, ASTD features multiple classifications for its units. The most basic is the attack type or effective range. Characters are first classified on where they can be placed. These units can either be ground type, air type, or ground + air type. Here are some brief descriptions of each:

• Ground Type – can only be placed on ground-level platforms
• Air Type/Hill – can only be stationed on top of a hill or in the air
• Ground + Air Type (Hybrid) – can be placed in either the air or on solid ground

Aside from their effective range, characters can be further classified depending on their function in battle. Here are the categories for the units’ roles; in addition to the two classifications, there are four rarity types in ASTD. The rarest ones are tagged as 6 stars while the more common ones are 3 stars:

• Main Damage Units (Single-Target DPS) – characters that deal significant damage to one target at a time
• Mass Destruction Units (Cleave) – characters that deal damage to multiple units at the same time
• Support Units (Utility and Buffs) – characters that don’t deal damage but provide valuable abilities such as buffs and crowd-control
• Cash Units (Money Generating) – characters that only generate money for players for unit upgrades

In addition to the two classifications, there are four rarity types in ASTD. The rarest ones are tagged as 6-Stars while the more common ones are 3-stars. However, less rare units can be stronger than some 6-stars.
