In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, regardless of whether you’re playing as Yasuke or Naoe, both can equip various weapons like the Kanabo, Kusarigama, and Teppo to eliminate their targets. On top of regular weapons, there are also legendary ones that have unique effects. Best Weapons for Naoe
- Yami no Kage: This weapon rewards the use of deflects by dealing 100% damage to your opponent upon a successful parry. With Yami no Kage, you can turn a defensive playstyle into an extra means of offense.
- Masked Death: Posture attacks are an integral part of combat, as this is the only way to break enemy blocks. When dodging, you would consume some charge for your Posture attack. Masked Death’s effect makes it so that you can still execute one after a dodge, giving you a larger window to break a block and punish enemies.
- Yukimitsu’s Revenge: Vulnerable damage can be fatal for many enemies, but this weapon makes enemies vulnerable for a larger window simply by inflicting an Affliction on them. With this, you can wail on enemies non-stop while hitting them with status effects to wear down even the toughest of targets.
Best Weapons for Yasuke
- Turquoise Zephyr: The biggest cause of death in AC Shadows is getting surrounded by a group of enemies since they all attack at once. The Turquoise Zephyr katana gives your deflects a knockback effect that’ll provide plenty of space to fight with.
- Venom Pillar: Posture attacks take a bit of time to charge up before you can execute one. However, this weapon’s unique effect allows you to instantly charge one by simply switching your attack style.
- Time-Honored Crescent: Naginatas are the AoE weapon of choice for Yasuke, which means that you should be surrounded when using this weapon. Its special effect states that the first strike with this weapon inflicts Vulnerable to surrounding enemies every 8 seconds.
