Shooting Your Way with the Best Guns in Apex Legends
One of the essential elements in any FPS (First Person Shooter) is always the guns that come with the game. These “items” represent the core and more than once make a single shooter game “unique.” Above all, we have seen everything at this point; from simple pistols to “bazooka-like” weapons that destroy every single living creature in front of the player, living a total mess.
Similarly, gaming mechanics tend to bend the rules of the damage that a single bullet does when it hits the target. Sometimes a single shot in the head is more than enough to get the job done; other times you need to repeat this endeavor more than ten tries until your target is “gone.” Lastly, we now have the option to “dress” our weapon of choice with different colors, graffiti or new striking decorations. Whatever it takes to make you look fancy over the battlefield.
The Best Guns in Apex Legends aren’t necessarily the golden rule that everyone needs to follow. Although their stats almost cross the line of “over power-ness.” Their effectiveness almost depends on the player itself. For example, with one or two shots of one Sniper Rifle are enough to knock-out one opponent, but it is essential that you always hit the “critical places.” In other words, if your accuracy isn’t high enough, you’ll keep missing your target. Instead of a Sniper Rifle, you should probably look for a Shotgun or Assault Rifle for better results.

Which current weapons can I count on?
Assault Rifles
These types of guns are probably the most likable in the entire community. Due to their characteristics, they can work in all the ranges (short, mid, and long). If Apex Legends is your first FPS, you should always hunt for these weapons in the arena. Furthermore, to master the Assault Rifles, you need to have a better understanding of the “recoil.” Learn to dominate the shooting bursts instead of the other way around. In Apex Legends we have Assault Rifles such as these:
- VK-47 Flatline
- Hemlok Burst AR
- R-301 Carbine
- Havok Rifle
Submachine Guns
The only purpose of these guns in to empty their clips as soon as possible. As a result, you barely press the “trigger button,” and soon you’ll need to reload your weapon again. Their focus is mid to short range, the bullets don’t do that much damage, but in a blink of an eye, you’ll probably throw your entire clip to your opponent. The recoil is not that impactful, but you should always keep an eye of the remaining bullets before any encounters. In Apex Legends we have Submachine Guns such as:
- Alternator SMG
- R-99
- Prowler Burst PDW
Light Machine Guns
Let the rain of bullets fall into your enemies without mercy. These “beauties” have one permanent representative, their clip size. When you start shooting, the firing sound will stay with you for a couple of minutes. One of the downsides though is the reloading speed. As a result, it is better to cover yourself before hitting the “reload” button. They own the mid to short range and are usually outstanding in keeping your enemies “suppressed.” In Apex Legends we have Light Machine Guns such as:
- Devotion LMG
- M600 Spitfire

Sniper Rifles
The masters of long-distance relationships. If you’re able to land your perfect shots, you’ll probably need just a couple to lead your enemies to the floor. Due to their dominance in the long range, your enemies probably wouldn’t able to see your amazing Legend’s skins before they leave the server for good. The downside is the close distance, with a moving target, you wouldn’t be able to land your shots as usual. In Apex Legends we have Sniper Rifles such as:
- G7 Scout
- Longbow DMR
- Triple Take
- Kraber .50-Cal Sniper
Shotguns
These are the polar opposite of the Sniper Rifles. These weapons work at best when you’re close to your opponent. Your aiming doesn’t need to be that accurate to land good shots that destroy the enemy’s shield. Keep an eye always to the remaining bullets, the more you pull the trigger in one encounter, the better. In Apex Legends we have Shotguns such as:
- EVA-8 Auto
- Peacekeeper
- Mastiff Shotgun
- Mozambique Shotgun
Pistols
The neutral playground is their best interest. These weapons usually don’t exceed in a characteristic but have them all in the middle of the spectrum. It has an average size clip, damage, and recoil. These weapons do their best performance in the mid and short range. When you start a new match, you’ll probably see these types of weapons more often than the rest. In Apex Legends we have Pistols such as:
- P2020
- RE-45 Auto
- Wingman
What are the Best Guns in Apex Legends?
S Tier
Prepare to dominate the arena with these beauties.
- Mastiff Shotgun
- Kraber .50-Cal Sniper
A Tier
These Weapons are like your “best friends” in Apex Legends. Always there for you.
