Players can obtain various items in their ascent in Peak. Each of these things provides varying effects and is helpful in specific situations. Knowing what each item does will help you save time in determining whether you need it or not. This knowledge is crucial when you’re trying to escape the creeping fog. This guide will show players all the effects of each type of equipment.

All Items in Peak
There are at least three categories of items: Exploration, Healing, and Misc. Exploration items help players survive and climb their ascent to the Peak. Healing materials help in recovering HP, reviving players, and providing other buffs. Misc items give varying effects that fulfill different purposes. Here are all the items in Peak.
Exploration
Item | Effect |

Portable Stove | Place down a stove that can cook food. Slowly cures freeze status effect. Can’t be picked back up after being placed. |
Rope Cannon | Shoots out an arrow with a climbable rope up. The rope is small, though. |
Rope Spool | 12.5m of rope that can be spun downwards and placed on a rock to help teammates climb. |
Anti-Rope Spool | Same as the above, but the rope goes upwards instead of downwards. |
Anti-Rope Cannon | Same as the Rope Cannon, but the rope goes downwards instead of up. |
Chain Cannon | Like the Rope Cannon, it fires out an anchor that locks to a wall, but creates a sideways vine-like wire instead. |
Piton | Can be placed on walls to recover stamina when climbing, but it can break after extended use. |
Shelf Shroom | When thrown, it creates a small temporary platform to stand on. |
Magic Bean | When thrown at the ground, it creates a tall pole structure that’s ladder-like and climbable. |
Food and Healing
Item | Effect |

Big Lollipop | Infinite stamina temporarily, when used, after the effect finishes, you are inflicted by lethargy and need to wait to get your stamina back. |
Marshmallow | Better cooked. Recovers hunger. |
Food | There are so many different types of food that all heal you and can be cooked that its hard to note them all. |
Scout Effigy | Revives a dead player, one-time use. |
Heat Pack | Removes Frost damage. Doesn’t stop it from affecting you. |
Antidote | Cures 14 ticks of Poison |
Medkit | Full Heals |
Bandages | Heals for 12 ticks of damage. |
Cure-All | Removes all status effects and heals to max stamina. |
Remedy Fungus | Thrown item. Releases spores that heal players of everything. |
Pandora’s Lunchbox | 3 uses. Gives random hunger or status effects |
Faerie Lantern | Slowly heals all players in a radius. Can run out of charge. |
Miscellaneous

Flare | When thrown, it creates smoke for finding lost teammates and giving a direction. |
Lantern | Creates a light source and also stops freezing status effects in a small radius. |
Bing Bong (Plush) | Does nothing. Required for an achievement. |
Bugle (Musical Instrument) | Used for an achievement and getting Winterberry through Capybaras in hot springs. |
Compass | Keep track of where you’re facing. Mostly useless. |
Blowgun | Shoots a one-time dart that inflicts heavy lethargy status. |
Banana Peel | Players slip on it when stepped on. |
Bugle of Friendship | Gives every player infinite stamina when used. Lasts for 10 seconds. Can run out of charge. |
Cursed Skull | Kills you in return for all nearby teammates reviving, as well as removes all status effects and gives full stamina to everyone else. |
Pirate’s Compass | Points to the closest closed luggage case. |
Scoutmaster’s Bugle | Spawns the Scoutmaster to chase the player. Gives everyone nearby max Stamina. |
