What are STALKER 2 Mutants
There are 16 different mutants in STALKER 2, with each categorized into three groups: Mutated Animals, Mutated Humans, and Creatures with Supernatural Powers. Note that there are some mutants whose categories will overlap. Almost all mutants deal physical damage, with a few even dealing a bleed effect.
Players will find that the animal mutants use a hit-and-run strategy to attack. They’ll often rush and attack once before running away to avoid damage. For the ones that don’t apply this strategy, you’ll find that their health bar is significantly more robust.
All the mutants you encounter don’t have any loot on them, so it’s best to avoid them if possible. If you encounter someone attacking you, do your best as a hunter to take it down.
