DOTA 2 Templar Assassin Build

DOTA 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Valve in 2013. A sequel to a mod of Blizzard Entertainment’s Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, Defense of the Ancients. This guide will focus on building the DOTA 2 Hero: Templar Assassin. The three builds we will go into are the Standard, Safe Lane, and Race Car builds. Lanaya, the Templar Assassin Lore

Lanaya spent her early years studying Nature’s laws, magic, and alchemy, recreating the charred experiments from the Violet Archives while memorizing the observations of the Keen recordkeepers. Her quiet and secretive Nature enhances her skills of stealth. She devoted her talents to unlocking the secrets of the universe and opened the secret door that exists in Nature, the door to the Hidden Temple. The mysteries were revealed to her when she discovered the door; the answers within the Hidden Templed expanded her knowledge. Lanaya swore to protect the mysteries in service of the Hidden Temple as it satisfied her craving for knowledge.

Abilities List

Refraction (Q): Templar Assassin avoids damage and gains bonus damage.

Meld (W): Templar Assassin conceals herself by turning invisible as long as she is still.

Psi Blades (E): Templar Assassin blades that slice through a group of targets while damaging enemy units behind them.

Trap (D): Templar Assassin throws a trap to slow enemies.

Psionic Projection (F): Templar Assassin will teleport to any Psionic Trap; after channeling for 1.5 seconds before detonating it upon arrival.

Psionic Trap (R): Templar Assassin traps that are invisible and monitor enemy movement. When triggered by her, it slows enemies for 30% and can charge up a slow up to 60% after 4 seconds, then deals damage when fully charged.

How to Play Templar Assassin

Farm to itemize Templar Assassins for the mid-game. No rush on getting the items immediately, but the goal is to get Blink Dagger and Desolator in the first 20 minutes. The best way to get through the games is to pick each enemy off by assassinating them. Go for the easy targets and apply pressure in the enemy jungle to prevent them from getting buffs. This build focuses on damage and survivability; when the late game comes, you want to maximize all damage items paired with the Divine Rapier.

As these builds focus on severe damage, it does not have many healing items, but you can last longer in a fight.
