Hades 2 Erebus Table Guide: All Resources and Offerings

By | February 25th, 2025 | Categories: Others

The new Hades 2 update introduces the Erebus Region to the game. This zone also brings in more enemies, resources, mini-bosses, and boons. The dark forest also hosts several interactable objects to help you during battles. If you want to be prepared or don’t want to miss anything in your runs, this guide will help you learn the most essential things about Erebus.

Erebus Overview

The most noticeable thing you’ll find in Erebus is the Warding Circles. You can interact with these objects to project a protective circle if you cast the Circles of Protection incantation at the Cauldron during Crossroads breaks. They can negate enemy damage while allowing you to attack in their area of effect. After running over them, you’ll only have a few seconds to benefit from them, so use them wisely.

Aside from these, we get several new resources that you can harvest with various tools. New boons also become available via Arachne. There are also new monster types with different attack styles, so it’s best to be prepared before you face them.

Erebus Enemies

Enemies Attack Pattern How to Fight
Whisper Launch a spinning attack after approaching you Kill them before they launch their spin attack
Spindle Fires red beams from their eyes and follows up with stationary spin attacks You can kill them while they spin using ranged attacks. You can also attack them from behind while firing their beams or after they get dizzy.
Wastrel Cocks their arm before charging at enemies twice Keep attacking while dodging both their charges
Caket Fires multiple projectiles Attack them while they’re charging up for their projectile attacks
Wailer Follows you around while letting out damaging screeches Attack them while they’re unarmored to force them to stop
Thorn Weeper Stationary enemies that damage you on contact Just don’t touch them while attacking

Erebus Mini-Bosses

Mini-Boss Attack Pattern How to Fight
Shadow Spiller (Stationary) Only swipes at you with its appendages, but conjures a shroud in the surrounding area which covers the area out of its vicinity in a fog of war. Kill the Thorn Weepers in the area first. It doesn’t have any other attacks besides swipes, so just attack and retreat.
Root Stalker (Stationary) Fires projectile-based attacks or summons circular root masses that can trap you. An armored root will also follow and damage you throughout the fight. Destroy the armored root first before focusing on the mini-boss. Always be on the move while attacking.

Note: You aren’t guaranteed to fight the mini-bosses all the time since each arena is randomly generated.
