Persona 3 Reload guide to all Social Links

One of the Persona franchise’s core features to getting stronger is the Social Link system, which ties into the player’s progression towards getting the most powerful Personas. A Social Link is the player’s bond with a character who represents a specific Arcana on the Tarot. As you progress through a character’s Social Link, you will gain bonus experience with Personas of that Arcana upon successful infusion. In Persona 3 Reload, these characters and their respective Arcana are:

This guide will provide information for each character, their requirements, and what days they are available to maximize your Social Links efficiently.

SEES: The Fool

This Social Link is tied directly to the story progression and has no requirements other than going through certain narrative moments in the game. This Social Link will unlock the Susanoo Persona once it reaches the max level.

Kenji Tomochika: The Magician

This character will be available on April 22 and has no stat requirements to unlock him. He hangs out in Classroom 2F of Gekkoukan Highschool and is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. During dialogue, select the following answers per rank:

• Rank 2: “No way.” and “I like them all!”
• Rank 3: “What, of life?” and “Good luck!”
• Rank 4: “Good luck”
• Rank 5: “Okay…”
• Rank 6: “I’ve got plans already.”
• Rank 7: “What happened?”, “Bride-to-Be?” and “Congrats!”
• Rank 8: “Are you in trouble?” and “You should talk it out”.
• Rank 9: “Let me handle this!”
• Rank 10: “What happened?”

Finishing his Social Link will award the Handmade Choker memento, which is used to create Futsunushi, the best Magician Arcana Persona.

Fuuka Yamagishi: The Priestess

Her Social Link is unlocked on June 19. She requires Courage Rank 6: Badass and the Fortune Social Link to be unlocked first. She is available on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays and can be found on the 2nd Floor Hallway in Gekkoukan Highschool. Her preferred gift is a Glass Vase. For her dialogue, select the following:

• Rank 2: “Sure.” and “Sure thing.”
• Rank 3: “Just a dash or two.” and “Just take it slow.”
• Rank 4: “You’re a hard worker.” and “That’s not true.”
• Rank 5: “You did a great job”, “I’m glad I could help” and “Could you make me more sometime?”
• Rank 6: “Of course” and “That’s the spirit.”
• Rank 7: “That’s messed up”.
• Rank 8: “I want to be with you too…”
• Rank 10: “I’ll be by your side.” and “I love the headphones!”

She will unlock the Scathach Person by fusing with the Headphones memento that she gives you on max Social Link level.

Mitsuru Kirijo: The Empress

Her Social Link is unlocked on November 21. She requires Academic Rank 6: Genius. She is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. She is found in the 1F Faculty Room Hallway, just outside the Faculty Office. She favors the Googly-Eyed Idol and Japanese Doll gifts.

• Rank 2: “Do you know how to eat it?”
• Rank 3: “Why not give it a try?”, “Are you happy?”, “Maybe you’re in love?” and “I heard nothing.”
• Rank 4: “Did something happen?” and ”It’s all for love.”
• Rank 5: “Glad you enjoyed it.” “A motorcycle?” and “Let’s go for a ride.”
• Rank 6: “Looking for something specific?” “I didn’t know…” and “I’ll do something about it.”
• Rank 7: ”I don’t mind at all.”
• Rank 8: “Don’t insult her father!” and “Don’t give in.”
• Rank 9: “It made me happy”.
• Rank 10: Any

She gives the Motorcycle Key, which can be fused to create Ailat after max Social Link rank.

Hidetoshi Odagiri: The Emperor

He is unlocked on April 27. When Mitsuru invites you to help the Student Council, speak to Ms. Toriumi and then head to the Student Council Room to start Odagiri’s Social Link. He is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. He can be found on the 2F Classroom Hallway.

• Rank 2: “Sounds like nonsense.”
• Rank 3: “What happened?” or “No need to fight.”
• Rank 4: “Looks like you’re hard at work.”
• Rank 5: “They’re the worst!”
• Rank 6: “But I just got here…”
• Rank 7: “It seems too harsh”.
• Rank 8: “It wasn’t me.”
• Rank 10: “Not too shabby.”

His Social Link will unlock Odin by fusing a Persona with the Cheap Lighter memento upon reaching max rank.

Bunkichi and Mitsuko: The Hierophant

The elderly couple are available on April 25. Speak with them first, then retrieve a Persimmon Leaf, which can be found on the Gekkoukan Highschool Corridor to start their Social Link. They are free every day of the week except on Monday. They are found in the Iwatodai Station Strip Mall, within the Bookworms store. Bunkichi will be missing on September 12 and must be found before October 4, or their Social Link will be permanently locked out.

• Rank 2: Your name and “Thank you.”
• Rank 3: “Looking for something?” and “Can I help?”
• Rank 4: “I should go too.” and “I’m worried.”
• Rank 5: “I wouldn’t worry about it.” and “It’ll be okay.”

This Social Link will unlock the Kohryu Persona after fusing the Persimmon Fruit with a Persona.

Yukari Takeba: The Lovers

Her Social Link is unlocked on July 25 and requires Charm Rank 6: Charismatic. She is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and is found in Classroom 2-F. Yukari prefers the Rose Bouquet and Jack Frost Doll as gifts for her date.

• Rank 2: “Cute pink” and “That’s mean”.
• Rank 4: “Are you okay?”
• Rank 5: “I’m sorry.”
• Rank 6 “Anytime.” and “I wouldn’t mind.”
• Rank 7: “Let’s go just the two of us.”

Yukari will give the Cellphone Strap memento on Rank 10, which can be used to create the Persona Cybele of the Lovers Arcana.

Kazushi Miyamoto: The Chariot

Miyamoto is unlocked on April 23. He has no requirements and is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. He can be found in Classroom 2-F or in the Gym Hallway.

The Thor Persona can be unlocked after receiving the Sports Tape from him.

Chihiro Fushimi: Justice

She is available after joining the Student Council organization and speak to her 3 times on separate days. Ask her to hang out with you on the 3rd day to start her Social Link. Chihiro is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and can be found in the 2F Classroom Hallways near the Student Council room. Chihiro likes the Book Cover and Kaleidoscope gifts for her dates.

• Rank 2: “Don’t worry about it.” and “I’m having fun”.
• Rank 3: “They have no shame” and “I agree.”
• Rank 4: “I’m here for you.”
• Rank 5: “I’m all ears.” “Yeah, she’s in love.” “Happy to help.” and “Hold her hand.”
• Rank 6: “Is it good?” and “What do you mean?”
• Rank 7: “It’s gotta be a misunderstanding.” and “We have to do something…”
• Rank 8: “I know you’re innocent.”

She will grant the Shoujo Manga memento, which can be fused to receive the Melchizedek Persona on Rank 10.

Maya: The Hermit

Maya is available on April 29 and has no stat requirements. She is available only on Sundays and holidays and can only be communicated by playing the MMO on your desk.

• Rank 3: “Oh really? o_O” and “You don’t like your job?”
• Rank 4: “Let’s plan our wedding then.”
• Rank 5: “Do you mean S.O.B?” and “Are you a teacher?”

On max Rank, you will receive Screenshot Data from Maya, which is used to unlock Arahabaki for the Hermit Arcana.

Keisuke Hiraga: Fortune

Keisuke’s Social Link can be started on June 17 with no stat requirements. He is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and can be found at the 1F Laboratory Hallway, near the Art Club room.

• Rank 3: “You’ve got talent”.
• Rank 4: “Complaining to me won’t help you.”
• Rank 6: “It’s your choice now”.
• Rank 7: “Do you want to be a doctor?”
• Rank 8: “It’s okay, I’m fine.”

After Keisuke’s Social Link is complete, the Norn Persona will be available.

Yuko Nishiwaki: Strength

Yuko can be unlocked at any time but requires Rank 2 with Kazushi Miyamoto (The Chariot) by walking home with her during Kazushi’s first two events. She is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays and can be found in the 2F Classroom Hallways. Yuko will accept the Teddy Bear and Mini Cactus as gifts during her dates.

• Rank 2: “What happened?”, “It wasn’t your fault.” and “That’s true.”
• Rank 3: “Don’t worry about it.” and “I’m honored.”
• Rank 4: “Sure thing.”
• Rank 5: “It’s because you teach so well.” and “I trust whatever you decide, Yuko.”
• Rank 6: “As long as we believe in them.”
• Rank 7: “Are you relieved?” and “Let’s do it.”
• Rank 8: Any
• Rank 9: “An instructor?” and “It’s because I love you”.
• Rank 10: “Is it important?” and “Yeah.”

Yuko’s Social Link contains the Persona Siegfried, who can be obtained after reaching rank 10.

Maiko Oohashi: The Hanged Man

Maiko will be available on May 6. To start her Social Link, you must bring her the Mad Bull drink and Weird Takoyaki item, which can be purchased at the Iwatodai Station vending machine and Octopia at the Strip Mall, respectively. After that, accept her offer to play with her. She is found on the Naganaki Shrine and is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. She will go missing on October 21 and must be rescued by November 3, or her Social Link will be inaccessible for the rest of the game.

• Rank 2: “Sure, let’s go.”
• Rank 3: “Don’t worry, he’ll be there.”
• Rank 4: “That’s great news.”
• Rank 5: “That’s awful.” and “They would never.”
• Rank 6: “It’s up to you.” and “That should be enough.”

She will unlock the Persona Attis for you on reaching Rank 10 with her.

Pharos: Death

Pharos’ Social Link is tied to the story and is thus automatically leveled as you progress through the narrative. Thanatos will be given to the player once his story is done.

Bebe: Temperance

Bebe has no specific date of unlock but requires Academic Rank 2: Average and Rank 3 with Bunkichi and Mitsuko (The Hierophant), He is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Bebe can be seen in either the 2F Classroom Hallway or the 1F Laboratory Hallway in the Home Economics room.

• Rank 2: “I totally agree”.
• Rank 3: “How about a kimono?”
• Rank 4: “Are you alright?”
• Rank 5: “Sure.” and “Just stay in Japan!”
• Rank 6: “Why not take a break?” and “I have your back!”
• Rank 7: “That’s a great idea.”
• Rank 8: “He’ll definitely agree!”
• Rank 9: “Aren’t you homesick?”
• Rank 10: Any

Bebe will give you the Money Pouch item that is used to summon the Byakko Persona.

President Tanaka: The Devil

He also has no specific date of unlock, but he requires the player to give him 20000 yen first and then 10000 yen twice on different days, Rank 4 with Maya (The Hermit) and Charm Rank 4: Smooth. He can be found in Paulownia Mall on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

• Rank 2: “Placebo.”
• Rank 3: “Maybe a little.”
• Rank 4: “Sure have!”
• Rank 5: “Whose face?” and “It’s all about the money…”

President Tanaka will give the Thank-you Letter needed to summon Beelzebub.

Mutatsu: The Tower

Mutatsu requires the player to talk to the bartender in Club Escapade in Paulownia Mall and serve drinks to the patrons in the bar. He also requires Strength Rank 4 to learn about the monk and Courage Rank 2: (Ordinary) to speak to him. Mutatusu can be found in Club Escapades on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• Rank 2: “None of your business.” and “How should I address you?”
• Rank 3: “I don’t have any friends.”
• Rank 4: “Yeah, that might look cool.”
• Rank 5: “I have enough” and “No”

He will give the Reserve Tag, which unlocks the Persona Chi You.

Mamoru Hayase: The Star

Mmaoru is available on August 5 and requires Courage Rank 4: Tough. He is found in the Iwatodai Sation Strip Mall and is available on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Nozomi Suemitsu: The Moon

Nozomi requires Magician Rank 3, Charm Rank 2: Unpolished, and Odd Morsel item. When he questions you, answer with “Pheromone Coffee,” “Red,” and “Hagakure Bowl.” He is found in Paulownia Mall on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The Persona Sandalphon is available after completing Nozomi’s Social Link and receiving the Coupon items.

Akinari Kamiki: The Sun

He requires rank 3 with Maiko (The Hanged Man) and Academic Rank 4: Smart. Speak to him and he’ll ask you about a missing Red Fountain Pen. Koromaru will retrieve it for you. Return the pen to start his Social Link. He is found in Naganaki Shrine on Sundays.
