Elon Musk Back at the PoE 2 HC Leaderboard After Admitting to Boosting
It’s been less than a week since Elon Musk admitted to ‘cheating’ in Path of Exile 2 to reach the leaderboards, and it seems that the X CEO is back again at the top 3 on the rankings. Musk was considered one of the top PoE 2 players before his Percy_Verence character died in the game’s Hardcore mode. Afterward, he unwittingly revealed that he had been boosting his account while barely being skilled at the game.

Musk Back at Top 3 PoE 2 Ranking
In a Reddit post by u/TheBassGhost, Musk is shown to be back in the top 3 spots on the PoE 2 Hardcore leaderboard. Musk’s character, Fatalismftw, is a level 99 Invoker with 3,987,640,041 EXP. However, how the X CEO pulled this off is astounding, even if he’s hiring pilots to boost his accounts.
Players aren’t shocked that Musk admitted to hiring a booster again for this character, but gamers are genuinely surprised at how fast the power levelers got him back to the top spot. Fans believe Musk is blatantly boosting his character again because of his jump-packed schedule. Musk has been making numerous TV appearances and is known to be playing Diablo 4, which just started its Season 7. There’s no way that the tech billionaire would’ve made a comeback without paying others to grind his character.

Musk Admits to Boosting His Account
Musk admitted to hiring other people to grind his account the previous week. He mentions how power leveling is essential to stay competitive in the leaderboard race against Asia players. While hiring account pilots is against ToS, it’s not what pissed off gamers about Musk.
Despite his apparent lack of skill and knowledge, what annoys fans is how Musk touts himself as one of the best PoE 2 players of all time. While some gamers will agree that top HC players hire pilots to maintain their lead, they actively play their accounts and do most of the heavy grind themselves. However, it’s been speculated that Musk’s PoE 2 pilots do more of the grind than him, and the billionaire shows his undeserving position at the HC leaderboard every time he streams his gaming sessions on X.
Musk Boasts His Status In Other Games
Path of Exile 2 isn’t the only game in which Musk considers himself one of the best. The billionaire continues to claim that he’s one of the top gamers in Diablo 4 as well and wants to be cemented as one of the top ARPG players of all time. However, he also lacks knowledge and skill in this title, which shows on his frequent Diablo 4 streams. His top status in PoE 2 and frequent TV appearances also insinuate that Musk has pilots boosting his D4 account.
