All Dune: Awakening Houses and Landsraad Rewards: Which One to Join

The Landsraad system is one of the more unique features in Dune: Awakening. Players can choose which house leads the Landsraad, dictating the type of boosts and bonuses applied server-wide. Gaining control of the term will provide considerable advantages to factions aligned with the Great House. If you’re wondering which one your guild should join for the Landsraad, this guide will help you decide.

What is the Landsraad Term

The Landsraad term is a periodic voting session between houses, wherein the Great House with the most points or contributions will gain control of the Landsraad. The winning faction gets to make decrees that affect the whole server, and they provide particularly huge boosts to all aligned guilds. This aspect is essential in the game’s end-game content, especially when PvP and difficult PvE situations are frequent.

All Dune: Awakening Landsraad Houses

There aren’t many differences between the two Great Houses in Dune: Awakening, and your decision of which faction to go with depends on which one is more likely to win during Landsraad. You can always progress with all the minor houses simultaneously since you’ll need to secure their votes for your aligned group during the voting period. Here are all the Dune: Awakening groups and their rewards.

Great Houses

There are currently only two great Houses in Dune: Awakening, but a third one is rumored to go live in future updates. The two great houses are the Atreides and the Harkonnen. Their rewards for controlling the Landsraad will generally be the same unless future updates fix this. Here are all the bonuses your faction can decide on:

Choam Prediction Contract: Reduce crafting cost by 25%
In Honor of the Fallen: Increase ranged weapon damage by 33%
Exclusive Weapon Import Rights: Gain access to Landsraad Weapon Vendors

Future updates might add new bonuses. Aside from these buffs, your chosen great house will have various themes and principles. These concepts are likely to have in-game implications in the future.

Minor Houses

Aside from the two Great Houses, there are 25 other minor houses that you can gain favor with. Each will give different sets of rewards depending on your progression with them. You gain points with the Minor Houses by delivering resources, like spices, to them or holding on to specific points within the Deep Desert. Here are all the rewards you’ll get for each one:

How Will Faction Members Communicate

Guilds of the same faction can only communicate via the local chat. There won’t be a special Faction Chat tab, so different guilds must be in the same vicinity to communicate and coordinate their movements. This makes espionage from rival groups a potential threat since they can overhear what’s being discussed.

Do Progression with Minor Houses Reset

Yes. After each Landsraad, the progression for Minor House will reset. You can farm all rewards again in the next cycle as you’re trying to secure each representative’s vote. You can still complete the progression tracks after the Landsraad quota has been met, and they will only reset during the next cycle.
