All Early Game Dune: Awakening Weapons and Armor Schematic Locations

Dune: Awakening drops you into the hostile world of Arrakis, where you must find and craft gear to survive and thrive to cultivate desert power. Scattered around the Vermillius Gap are chests containing schematics for powerful early-game gear you can grab. While these are Copper grade, they’ll give you a boost for exploring mid-game locations. This guide will list every chest in the region and how you can reach them.

Western Vermillius Gap

Imperial Testing Station No. 197: Found at the very end of the station interior.

Coils of the Wyrm: There are two chests in this location. One can be found at the top of the highest rock spire outside (Having Trooper unlocked with Shigawire Claw and Suspensor Dash is recommended). The other is in a secret entrance covered by a micro-sandwich fabric wall.

Miner’s Watch: The chest is on the second floor in a corner of the base.

Northwest Ironworks: The chest is at the top of the structure, next to a couple of terminals.

The Wreck of the Pallas: Start at the top of the ship and find a breach on the hull. Go inside and look for a door with an eagle symbol. Cut the door open and take the Green ID band. Head for the ship bridge, where you can find the chest.

The Anomaly: At the center of the anomaly, the chest can be found right next to a lit lamp. It will be easier to spot at night.

Eastern Vermillius Gap

Suk Alusus: Inside the cave encampment, look for a Blue ID Band on a small black table. Take it, then enter the blue entryway, climb up the hole to the right, and open the chest in that room.

Suk Alusus: The next chest is outside Suk Alusus, at the top of the tallest and largest rock spire. Once again, ensure you are trained with the Shigawire Claw and Suspensor Dash to reach the top easily.

Ghanima Cavern: Behind The Anvil, on the rock face of the left rock spire, you can cut a micro-sandwich fabric wall to enter Ghanima Cavern. From there, keep going left until you see another micro-sandwich fabric wall. The chest will be in that room.

Imperial Testing Station No. 10: The chest can be found at the very end of the dungeon, which can take some time to traverse. Just keep going down deeper into the facility and through green entryways, which will lead you to the chest with a schematic.
