Blue Prince How to Open Room 46

As the heir of Mt. Holly, your final goal is to find and reach the fabled Room 46. Locating this room requires very specific actions and puzzles. To make your hunt for Room 46 easier, this guide will take you through every puzzle and step to locate this elusive room.

All Blue Prince Room 46 Requirements

You’ll need to draft the mansion rooms in a specific order while also doing certain interactions with these rooms to pave the way for Room 46. Here are each of the steps with a brief explanation of their puzzles:

Step 1: Draft the Utility Closet east of the Hallway. Enter the Utility Closet, find the circuit breaker, and activate power for the Garage.

Step 2: Draft the Garage to the far west of the manor that leads outside. Activate the button on the wall to open the garage door. Go outside and follow the footpath west. At the end of the footpath, interact with the West Gate to permanently unlock it. You’ll need this to place an outer room.

Step 3: Go to the entrance of the outer room and select the Tomb to draft.

Step 4: Draft a Chapel in your mansion. Go inside and you’ll see stained glass art of angels with a Roman numeral under them. Note down the order of each angel from I to VII, as this is a clue for the next step.

Step 5: Go to the Tomb and interact with the angel statues in the same order as the angels on the stained glass. If you activate them in the right order, a secret entrance will open up.

Step 6: Go through the secret entrance and activate the angel statue to open another secret entrance. Enter the path you just opened up and turn left. Pull the minecart away, as this will clear the way for the next step.

Step 7: Explore the mansion until you unlock the Foundation room.

Step 8: Draft any room with a door next to the side of the Foundation that is just a wall. Once the room is set, go to the blocked side of the room and interact with the lever to make the lift in Foundation work.

Step 9: From the Great Hall, there’ll be a hidden switch which, when activated, will lead into the eastern entrance to the Antechamber.

Step 10: Go into the Antechamber and retrieve the Basement key.
Step 11: Go to the Foundation and take the lift down. Open the door with the Basement key and enter. There’ll be some carts that you’ll need to push and pull away, as there will be a hidden switch on the wall. Activate the switch to open up a hidden pathway.

Step 12: Enter the entrance to the right where you’ll see a rotating platform. Turn the wheel 4 times and go through the mineshaft that you opened up earlier in Step 6. Cross the platform as there’ll be another wheel to turn. Turn it 5 times to clear your path towards Room 46.
