RR Refund System to Combat Cheating
It’s been revealed for months that an RR Rollback feature is in the works, but that’s the only news we got in 2024. Alongside Valorant’s Season 25 Act 1, we’re getting a new update regarding this system as showcased on Valorant News. Players will gain a full RR refund in a match wherein they encounter a cheater, regardless of whether they win. The rollback will apply in the next game after players are notified that they’ll get the points back.

It’s unclear if you should’ve submitted a report to get a refund on a successful cheater ban, but it’s probably not required. We don’t have any updates on whether we’ll get similar treatment for gamers with griefers or AFK teammates. Players also want some leniency for matches under these circumstances so that we might get something similar in the future.
When Will the Valorant RR Refund Go Live
The feature is still in development, and we don’t have a definitive release date. However, we’re getting new information about this system very soon, so we’ll have to wait for further dev updates. Until then, players can enjoy the latest act with the newest agent, Tejo.
