Valorant’s Latest Bundle Price Increase Leaves Players Disappointed
With a new season, Valorant has also released a new skin bundle. And this latest bundle has players sharing their disappointment online. Not only is the price of the bundle inflated, but players also noticed that the skins aren’t the same quality either. Valorant’s Price Changes
Valorant started increasing the price of their bundles during the release of the Kuronami Collection in Episode 8, Act 1. At the time, that Exclusive tier bundle went for 9,500 VP. This was compared to the typical 8,700 VP. With the current season, V25S1, the update released the EX.0 Collection which also costs 9,500 VP. However, it wasn’t the price that disappointed fans, but the lackluster design of the skins.

Looking Back at Previous Bundle Prices
Previous Exclusive tier bundles, which cost 8,700 VP, would come with 4 gun skins and 1 melee. Not only that, but the collection would also include a unique reload animation, SFX, a finisher, and 4 different color variants. This type of bundle was the standard players were used to.
When the EX.0 bundle was released, players were sorely disappointed. The skin collection had a finisher and SFX but lacked a reload animation. What players griped about the most was that there are Premium tier skins that cost less, have a better design, and feature everything they want. Fans also noticed that the bundle recycled some pull-out animations from previous ones, fueling disappointment, with many calling the bundle a scam.

What Can Players Do?
What can players do to prevent the game from going down this path? The best option is to not purchase the bundle. Streamers, content creators, and fans can share their thoughts, but the best way to show devs is through sales. If the devs see that no one bought the latest bundle, they’ll have to come up with other ways for players to buy them instead. One of those ways is to roll back the prices to their old standards.
If players continue to purchase the bundles despite the price hike, it’ll show the developers that no matter how high the prices get, players will continue to purchase them even if it’s of lower quality. If they want to make a difference, players will need to vote with their wallets to prevent the price hike from continuing.
