Warframe: Lavos Prime Access Confirmed Release Date and Details
As confirmed by [DE]Megan, we can expect a new Prime Access Warframe to drop sometime after January 31, the first Devstream of 2025. [DE]Megan has dropped some hints that this new Prime will be Lavos and Prime variants of his signature weapons. Devstream #184 Hints Lavos Prime Access
Digital Extremes released a short article about the upcoming Devstream #184, which will be discussing new 1999 content, which includes the On-lyne Infested bosses that are central to the Technocyte Coda update. However, one feature of the article is the hint that Lavos Prime may arrive, as quoted as “witness the first Prime of 2025.” Not only that, but Warframe is celebrating the Lunar New Year with many snake-themed cosmetics like Floofs, Glyphs, and Warframe skins for the Year of the Snake.
Lavos is also a snake-themed Warframe, using serpents as a part of his kit to transmute elements together, which perfectly ties into the Lunar New Year’s new zodiac animal, the Snake. Lavos is all but confirmed to receive a Prime variant, especially fitting right at the start of the Year of the Snake.
Cedo Prime as a Meta Weapon
Many Prime Access packs also include a primary weapon, a secondary, and a melee. While Lavos’ Prime Access secondary and melee are unknown, we can expect his signature weapon, Cedo, to receive a Prime variant as a part of his bundle. Players tout the Cedo as a sleeper meta weapon, and with a Prime variant, we may see a massive surge of players using this shotgun as a status chance killer.
