Yae Miko Vision: Why Doesn’t She Have One?
Yae Miko apparently doesn’t need a Vision or wants to reveal how she got it in Genshin Impact. Her character stories imply the former since she just makes up stories about it.
Interestingly (excluding the Electro Archon), three of this element’s users have backgrounds of receiving their Visions that involved stories. Fischl is addicted to a novel series, Beidou’s feats are a local legend in Liyue, and Yae’s involvement in publishing stories. Since that’s just a third of the Electro users, it’s much harder to find what they have in common to receive the same element of Visions.
Lisa just had hers appear when she thought about it. Razor’s was a traumatic memory. Sara received hers as she was flung off a mountain with injured wings. As for Shinobu, she got hers when she escaped from the shrine she was training at. As the Electro Archon, the Raiden Shogun doesn’t need a Vision.
Raiden Ei had confirmed that Archons do not have any control over who gets a Vision. It must be Celestia’s gods who have the power to do so. However, we don’t know yet what criteria they use to decide who is worthy of one.
