Gigantic Tier List for Heroes
It took five years, but Gigantic is back—hopefully for good this time. Touted as a hero MOBA shooter, Gigantic blends the 5v5 experience with third-person elements. The revamped version—Gigantic: Rampage Edition—is a definitive and premium release of the OG game. You can choose from a diverse roster of heroes, each with a different set of upgradable abilities.
You must team up with your four teammates to win objectives and ultimately down the opposing team’s Guardian while protecting your own. Whether you’re a newcomer eager to experience Gigantic for the first time or a veteran looking to get back on track, our hero tier list is here to guide you on the current meta.

Gigantic Matchmaking: Picking the Right Hero for You
Gigantic: Rampage Edition has 23 returning and new heroes to choose from—all offering offensive and defensive capabilities. To start a match, you must choose a hero, join a team, and go against another team in 5v5 battles to see who reigns supreme. However, this is easier said than done. Players who have been avid fans of Gigantic since its original release must adjust accordingly since some changes have been made. At the very least, the core gameplay style of most characters remains the same.
In our tier list, we’ll break down every hero’s strengths and weaknesses.
S-Tier
Hero | Role |
Rutger | Tank |
Imani | Ranged DPS |
Uncle Sven | Support |
T-Mat | Ranged DPS |
Tripp | Melee DPS |
All of this tier’s heroes excel in multiple gameplay styles in Gigantic. They’re the best of the best—the cream of the crop. You can bet they’ll bring something to the table that can be used on mall maps and modes. It’s impossible to go wrong with these heroes; they’re viable picks in any scenario.
A-Tier
Hero | Role |
Wu | Melee DPS |
HK-206 | Ranged DPS |
Lord Knossos | Frontline |
Oru | Support |
Tyto | Melee DPS |
Xenobia | Support |
Rolan | Ranged DPS |
Pakko | Frontline |
The Margrave | Frontline |
Ramsay | Melee DPS |
Kajir | Melee DPS |
Beckett | Ranged DPS |
Aisling | Support |
The heroes in the A-tier are strong contenders with well-rounded kits that always make them safe picks in most situations/modes. While they have a couple of downsides that prevent them from reaching the highest tier, the heroes in this list are still solid and remain highly effective options.
B-Tier
Hero | Role |
Mozu | Ranged DPS |
Charnok | Ranged DPS |
Griselma | Support |
Voden | Ranged DPS |
B-tier heroes have specific uses, meaning they only excel in certain situations. They always have some downside that makes them unwanted or brought to the match (hero matchups, counters, etc.). The weaknesses they have limit their overall viability way too much. As a result, these characters require more thought, such as careful map considerations and team composition, to shine.
C-Tier
Hero | Role |
Ezren Ghal | Ranged DPS |
Vadasi | Support |
Heroes that belong in this tier are in a rough spot due to their kits or playstyles not meshing well with the meta in Gigantic: Rampage Edition. If they’re your favorite heroes, by all means, feel free to play them. But beyond that, the roles in the game can be fulfilled by playing a different (and arguably better) hero.
D-Tier
Hero | Role |
Zandora | Frontline |
There’s a reason why we put Zandora at the bottom of this list. Despite being a frontline-centric hero, she’s not exactly great at tanking. Her utility abilities also aren’t practical in most cases, resulting in her struggling to find her niche. Her capabilities fall flat in comparison to the other tanks we have.
