Are you new to Apex Legends? Have you been racking your brains out trying to find the best loot in the game? Worry not! With our handy Apex Legends Map guide, we’re going to show you to ropes on everything there is to know about the vast island of King’s Canyon.
What do I need to know about the Apex Legends Map?
There are over 17 locations spread throughout the map, all of which have different probabilities of containing low to high-tier loot. At the moment, there’s just one map that’s available and it’s called King’s Canyon; a place that looks as if it were inspired by Titanfall mixed with desert themes and futuristic grooves like technologically advanced structures and buildings that make for an expansive map that’s a joy to explore.
When you first visit a location, its name will pop up just beside your mini map at the top-left corner of the screen. There’ll be an indication of the loot tier on the location that you’re currently in for this match underneath the name of where you’ve dropped.
How about the best Loot for low, mid, and high-tiers?
High-Tier Loot Locations
- The Pit
- Water Treatment
Mid-Tier Loot Locations
- Skull Town
- Slum Lakes
Low-Tier Loot Locations
- Hydro Dam
Getting good loot is of utmost importance as it oftentimes dictates where a team places during a match. Powerful epic weapons, armor, and medkits can spell the difference between being the last man standing and coming in dead last as the very first time to be eliminated. Based on these locations, most of the places that have high-tier loot are almost all located on the outer areas of the map, while the mid-tier loot locations are in the center. For the low-tier ones, it’s best to avoid them if you can, but they’re not bad places to hole up. King’s Canyon is just one island in the whole Apex Legends Map, and you can bet there will be more islands coming soon!
