Apex Legends Alternator (SMG)
With the stats that this weapon possesses, you can practically tell that it can be easy to handle for the less experienced players. First, the recoil tends to affect only the vertical plane, which means that you’ll be holding the mouse a little bit down. Similarly, the reload speed tends to be quick, making more reliable between fights. Above all, the damage is not that meaningful, meaning that the Apex Legends Alternator isn’t that reliable in the later stages of the match.
- Maximum body damage: 13 (19 Head Damage). As you could probably tell already, the DPS (Damage per Second) isn’t that appealing. Therefore, even though you have the chance to hit all your shots in critical places, the damage is still too low overall.
- Attachments: Barrel Stabilizer, Extended Light Mag, Standard Stock, 1x Holo, 1x Digital Threat, 1x-2x Variable Holo, 1x HCOG Classic, 2x HCOG Bruiser, 3x HCOG Ranger, 2x-4x Variable AOG. Although this submachine gun comes with lots of alternative options, the damage is still the same. Therefore, you’ll probably need any of these attachments for other weapons.
- Ammo type: Light Rounds. Easy come easy go. The Light Rounds are practically everywhere on the battlefield, aim and shot it all.
- Preferred range: Short, Mid (With Mods). As stated before, there are lots of modifications that improve the stability and precision of your shots for this submachine gun; still, though, the damage isn’t “cutting it.”
The Apex Legends Alternator comes with a lot of options to improve its efficacy in the later parts of a match; sadly, nothing matters when the damage is still the same. In contrast, this is a fantastic weapon in the early stages of the game, and you’ll probably quickly find it across the arena. As a result, it is advisable that you master its recoil and get those early kills that’ll probably give you some advantages.
