Apex Legends Peacekeeper (Shotgun)
This amazing shotgun can be a little deceiving when you’re using it for the first time. First of all, the model, even though it looks all futuristic and “energetic” you’ll probably think that it shots some lasers. Consequently, the Apex Legends Peacekeeper has another interesting gaming mechanic when you press the trigger button and hold it for a while before you release; if done correctly, the shotgun spread will “compact” itself and focus all the damage with less affecting radius. In other words, if you deal a charged shot in the head of the enemy, the destruction is going to be lethal.
- Maximum body damage: 10 (15 Head Damage). At first, the damage may look a little too low for your taste but remember that the pattern of the shotgun tends to multiply the “hurting” with a single shot. If you’re able to land the full spread to the enemy’s body, you’ll probably deal 100 damage in total.
- Attachments: Shotgun Bolt, Precision Choke, 1x Holo, 1x Digital Threat, 1x-2x Variable Holo, 1x HCOG Classic, 2x HCOG Bruiser, 3x HCOG Ranger. Even though this weapon got a recent nerf (March 2019) with the “Shotgun Bolt” mod, it never fails to deliver a large amount of pain to your adversaries. Besides, if you’re able to find the “Precision Choke,” every single shot can be deathful.
- Ammo type: Shotgun Shells. You don’t need to worry about this type of ammunition. The shotgun shells appear commonly across the battlefield, which means more fun to you.
- Preferred range: Short, Mid (With Mods). If you have the chance to charge your shot completely, having a better scope can easily give you lots of advantages from far distances, even though this weapon is a shotgun.
Due to its high damage, the development team had to give some nerfs to the Apex Legends Peacekeeper. Therefore even, though they reduced the effectiveness of the “Shotgun Bolt” attachment and the rarity of the weapon to appear in the arena, this shotgun is still owning till this day.
