Diablo Immortal, the highly anticipated mobile spinoff of the classic Diablo franchise, has been out for a few months and is one of the most scintillating and exciting games to play. With its unique blend of action RPGs, the game has been met with mixed reviews. However, one of the biggest questions that players have is whether Diablo Immortal’s microtransaction system is pay-to-win.

So is the Game Pay-2-Win?
So, is Diablo Immortal pay-to-win? The answer is a resounding no. While players can purchase items, the game is balanced in such a way that these items do not give players an unfair advantage.
In Diablo Immortal, players can purchase various in-game items, including cosmetic items, runes, and more. These items can be purchased with two different types of currency: Gold and Platinum. Gold and Platinum are the game’s main currency and can be earned by completing quests and defeating monsters.
Platinum can be used to purchase cosmetic and other convenience items, but it cannot be used to purchase powerful gear or runes.
Eternal Orbs
Eternal Orbs, on the other hand, is the game’s premium currency and can only be purchased with real-world money. Ultimately, Diablo Immortal’s microtransaction system is designed to allow players to spend money to speed up their progress or customize their character’s look. While this may ease up your challenging grind depending on how much you spend, it does not make the game pay-to-win.
Bundles | Price |
60 Eternal Orbs | $0.99 |
315 Eternal Orbs | $4.99 |
630 Eternal Orbs | $9.99 |
1,650 Eternal Orbs | $24.99 |
3,450 Eternal Orbs | $49.99 |
7,200 Eternal Orbs | $99.99 |
How Do Eternal Orbs Help To Progress
Using Eternal Orbs to speed up your progression is one way you can take advantage of them. You can purchase Platinum with the orbs to forge powerful Legendary Gems, obtain Echo Crystals to upgrade regular gems, buy Legendary Crests from the Crest Merchant and purchase gear and upgrade materials from other players on the Marketplace.
While Platinum can be earned in-game, you can acquire large quantities instantly by spending Eternal Orbs. Additionally, you can use the orbs to buy Rare and Legendary Crests directly from the Crest Merchant, which increases the chance of a Legendary Gem dropping after completing an Elder Rift dungeon and guarantee Runes will drop as well.
Lastly, you can buy Reforge Stones with Eternal Orbs, which can only be earned by trading Hilts or as rewards at the end of PvP seasons in-game. Reforge Stones allow you to re-roll the stats of Legendary weapons and armor, and since you can’t get them easily in-game, you’ll need to spend money for Eternal Orbs to acquire a lot of them quickly.
Diablo Immortal is Not Pay-to-Win
In conclusion, Diablo Immortal’s microtransactions aren’t pay-to-win at all but instead act as a catalyst that eases up your grind which otherwise would’ve taken a lot of time. So if you have the means to get your bank account involved with the game to get your hands on an item, that’s great. However, you could also earn that same item in a longer time and save up some money as well if you’re patient enough.
??? not pay to win ??? what ??? are you real ??? either you are extremely gulible or extremely deceiving, either way you should not publish any game articles or game reviews cuz you are misleading people that are looking for a honnest article or review. “The answer is a resounding no” ah a “resounding no” using bold text, yeah no, you realy need to stop.
shameful article
in what way?
EXPLAIN THIS WRITE UP? ITS COMPLETELE BULLSHIT.
LOL This is so factually misleading and incorrect it begs the question of who paid the author to publish it. There are some things in game you cannot do without eternal orbs which blocks progress unless you pay real money for them, which is the only way to obtain them. That fits the definition (the real one, not the imaginary one this author clings to) pay to win.
TL;DR – You can’t progress after a certain point without paying, it’s pay to win.
