AFK Journey Necrodragon: Best Team Comps to Use

Necrodragon is one of the raid bosses in AFK Journey Dream Realm, which has one of the most destructive kits in the game mode. It features many explosive AoE attacks while continuously inflicting status effects on players. Fighting this boss can take several minutes, especially if you need more support heroes. This guide will help players form the best AFK Journey team comps for the Dream Realm Necrodragon.

Who is Necrodragon?

The Necrodragon specializes in stacking debuffs to render your team ineffective in the fight. He also has high-explosive attacks that deal with stationary targets. As such, your team should have a mix of mobility and utility to avoid all the considerable AoE skills while ensuring that your units are in their best form. Here are all the attacks of the Necrodragon:

• Ultimate: The boss unleashes an attack that impacts the whole team while increasing their ATK Speed and the damage they take.
• Mire DoT: Necrodragon spawns a mire targeting the area with the highest concentration of units. This ability deals severe damage over time. 
• Tank Buster: The boss will target the units with the highest HP and stun them for a duration. He will also siphon their energy to prevent them from casting.
• Debuff Rune: The Necrodragon spawns sigils beneath stationary units that deal with DoT. These runes also inflict energy generation and ATK debuffs.

While Necrodragon’s attacks focus on the tank, its main priority is the units closest to it. If you have a DPS carry that gets too close to the boss, it will be targeted. You have to be mindful of the position of your whole team, not just the ones close to the Necrodragon. Static characters get punished by the Debuff Rune and the Mire DoT, so you must ensure that everyone is on the move most of the time.

While it is okay to bring healers still, the boss limits their efficiency due to his ranged attacks that can interrupt unit actions.
