OSRS Fastest Way To Duradel

Fastest Way to Duradel
By | November 8th, 2022 | Categories: OSRS

If you’re looking to upgrade your Slayer skills in the game, there’s no better way to do it than through Duradel, the highest Slayer Master in OSRS. However, going to Duradel can be pretty hectic, primarily due to Shilo Village’s remote location, where he resides. You’ll need to pay him a ton of visits, especially if you’re focused on upgrading the Slayer attributes of your character.

So dive into the article, and let’s get on a journey to meet Duradel as we teach you everything there’s to know about all the shortest possible routes to reach him in no time!

Fastest Ways To Get To Duradel

If you’re looking for some of the quickest ways to reach Shilo Village, here are some of the methods you could try and see which one you prefer:

Method #1: Karamja Gloves 4

Karamja Gloves 4 are rewarded to you upon completing a set of achievements called Karamja Diary. While these gloves provide many other benefits, such as shortcuts to Red Dragons and access to Hardwood Grove, they also allow you to teleport infinitely and instantly to Shilo Village, where Duradel lives.

We recommend you finish Karamja Diary as soon as possible so you can unlock yourself a free-of-charge and time ride to Duradel. The Karamja diaries include tasks classified as the Easy Diary, Medium Diary, Hard Diary, and Elite Diary.

Method #2: Karamja Gloves 3

There’s no need to be disappointed if you’ve not gotten your hands on Karamja Gloves 4. Our following method uses Karamja Gloves 3, which are made accessible to you after you’ve completed all the Easy, Medium, and Hard tasks in the Karamja Diary. With these, you can teleport to the Gem Mine, located in the North-West part of Shilo Village.

From there, you’ll need to walk a bit to reach Duradel, and Voila! The good thing about them is that you can use them infinitely, like Karamja Gloves 4, to land in Shilo Village almost instantly.

Method #3: Shilo Village Cart System — Ardy

This method has no requirements; you need to bring 230 coins with you. Then purchase an Ardovgne Teleport from the Grand Exchange (GE) and use it to teleport to Ardovgne. Walk South-East to the docks which reads as “Ship to Brimhaven/Rimmington” on the map.

If you’re an Ironman, you’ll need 51 Magic along with two Law Runes and Water Runes to teleport to Ardovgne and make the same run.

Once you’re at the dock, you’ll see an NPC in blue clothing called Captain Barnaby. Hover your mouse on him and click on the second option, which reads “Brimhaven Captain Barnaby”. He will then help you reach Brimhaven.

Once you’re at Brimhaven, run South-East until you see a cart. Hover over the cart and click the first option that reads “Pay-fare Travel Cart”. This will cost you 200 coins and will straightaway take you to Shilo Village, where you can go meet up with Duradel.

Method #4: Shilo Village Cart System — POH

This method requires you to have a house in Brimhaven. If you do, simply teleport to your own house, and from there, you’ll be able to make a shorter run to the same cart mentioned in Method #3.

You can also use a Construction Cape to teleport there for free. Open your GE and click on the option at the bottom right, which looks like a cape. From there, click the fourth option, which reads as “Tele to POH Construct…cape(t)”.

You’ll need to pay the required 200 coins and after that, you’ll get teleported to Shilo Village.

Method #5: Shilo Village Cart System — Spirit Tree

If you do not have your house in Brimhaven, you’ll need to use a Spirit Tree. A Spirit Tree can be grown after you have 83 Farming. After meeting its criteria, you need to plant it somewhere in Brimhaven. You’ll also need 75 Construction if you want to build it inside a Player-Owned House.

You will then be able to teleport to Brimhaven through the Spirit Tree and follow either Method #3 or Method #4 to go and meet Duradel.

Method #6: Fairy Ring CKR

A Fairy Ring can also be used to teleport directly into Shilo Village. These Rings are unlocked after you’ve started the “Fairy Tale II – Cure a Queen” quest and taken permission from the Fairy Godfather. All 46 rings are spread throughout the map, and you can type in a three-letter code to teleport to any within the game.

If you’re going to a Fairy Ring for the first time, you’ll manually need to set up a code and save it. Once you’re at one, put in the “CKR” code, and this will take you West of Shilo Village. From there you can run to Duradel. You can also use the Tai Bwo Wannai Teleport at the Fairy Ring, but this method will take you a little bit North of your original destination.

Also, one other thing to keep in mind is that the Tai Bwo Wannai Teleport is a scroll that you get after you successfully complete all levels of Treasure Trails. In order to use it, you must also have completed the Tai Bwo Wannai Trios. These scrolls are finite and once you use them to teleport, they get destroyed and you’ll have to obtain them again if you’re looking to teleport.

Method #7: Glider

Our last method includes you taking a Glider to Gandius. This will land you a little East of the Shilo Village. From there on, you’ll need to go on foot to meet Duradel. You can use Gliders once you’ve completed the “The Grand Tree” quest, where seven gliders will be made available for you to use. You can also use them with Fairy Rings to teleport directly to the West side of Shilo Village.

Conclusion

While some of these methods might be an inch longer or shorter than others, they are the most effective ones we could come up with. So be sure to use either one of them to waste as less time as possible, and keep coming back and forth to Duradel to rack up those Slayer Points.
