Deck-Building Guide for Beginners: Elder Scrolls Legends Decks
If you’re familiar with The Elder Scrolls: Legends, it doesn’t matter how well-versed you’re in the lore and history of Tamriel. Instead, how are things going to play in your favor and for your opponent? PlayerAuctions knows that’s easier said than done, so we’re going to give you some tips on how to build a budget beginner deck for your Elder Scrolls Legends Decks. Hopefully, you’ll be able to turn the tide of card battling in your favor.

The Color of Victory
First, you’ll choose up to two attributes, which determine the colors of the cards in your deck. Assuming you already know what stats each color represents, take into consideration how synergistic are the specialties of the two attributes you’re going to choose. If you’re uncertain whether your pairing works or not, then check legends-decks.com. On the other hand, if you’re not too keen on having two colors for your deck, then take one. It might put you at a disadvantage because you won’t be able to cover your chosen color’s weakness, but hey, if it works for you then go for it.
Looks and Size Matter
Carefully consider your profile avatar. Aside from giving your account a badass thumbnail, it also determines what type of free cards you’re going to get every time you level up. Also, if your profile avatar is no longer to your liking regardless of the reasons (even the types of free cards that you’re receiving), then change it whenever. Don’t worry; you won’t get penalized.
Aside from choosing the best profile avatar and the best color combination for your deck, consider the number of cards in your deck. The more cards, the better. In The Elder Scrolls: Legends, however, cards might be a good thing, but too much of a good thing isn’t always good. By too much, we mean more than 50. Although exceeding that golden number provides more cards, it would mean more cards that you’ll have to go through before getting that lucrative card, or worse cards.

More Legends and More Cards
The bottom line is this: if your strategy relies on dishing out one creature or spell after another, more cards are going to help. On the other hand, if it’s reliant on certain cards, especially Legendaries, a tighter deck is needed. In case you didn’t know, not all Legendary cards are unique, which is a plus. It means that you can have more than one copy of the card on your Elder Scrolls Legends Decks.
Now if you want to have unique cards on your deck, that’s on you. If they’re a big help, then go ahead. Keep in mind that no matter how great it might seem, don’t build a strategy that’s heavily centered on them since there will always be a chance that you might not draw them, and lose.
Meanwhile, if you want or need a bigger deck but don’t have the cards for it, soul gems will do. The question is how do you make soul gems? Well, by soul trapping the “Premium” cards in your possession. They’re the shiny ones with a slightly animated one. With soul tapping, you’ll give up the number of soul gems equivalent to the number of soul gems necessary to create the regular version of the “Premium” card.
With those tips, we hope that you’ll be able to have an edge over your fellow beginners. Cheers!
