RS3 Bosses: Easiest to Hardest

If you’re new to RS3, then odds are you are getting to grips with a lot of the mechanics it has to offer. One major aspect of the game is bossing. Thankfully, there are some low-level bosses that are suitable to those venturing into the title for the first time. So let’s take a look at the best RS3 bosses for beginners.

Beginner RS3 Bosses

Before we dive into each of the individual bosses, here’s a quick list of the best RS3 bosses for beginners that we’ll be covering, from the easiest to the hardest:

  1. Barrows
  2. Kalphite Queen
  3. Giant Mole
  4. King Black Dragon
  5. Chaos Elemental
  6. Dagannoth Kings

Barrows Brothers

This is more than likely going to top many lists of simple boss fights. The Barrows pits players against six brothers from the Third Age. They come with special loot in the form of level 70 tank armor known as Barrows armor. If we are going to get our hands on this armor, we are going to need to take each brother out.

If we are going to do that, then we need to know how to find them. Unfortunately, they can be pretty frustrating to find. The reason for this is that the fight takes place in Morytania where there isn’t a whole lot of teleports for you to use for your convenience. The only way you can make it easier for yourself is if you have progressed through the game for a fairly decent amount. From Burgh de Rott, head north-east to find it. If you happened to have Drakan’s medallion or a games necklace that you have upgraded, then you can teleport to the location.

Kalphite Queen

The Kalphite Queen serves a challenge to players, in that it has three different styles of combat and can defend itself pretty well. With that said, you will need to be prepared for what’s to come. When you feel ready for further challenge, you can head to the Exiled Kalphite Hive to find the Exiled Kalphite Queen.

For now, let’s deal with finding the Kalphite Queen herself. We need to head to Al-Kharid and go south. This will take you to Shantay Pass. Leave the area and go west where you will find the entrance to the lair. If you’re reading this, then you’re likely doing this boss for the very first time. If that is the case, then make sure you bring two pieces of rope with you. Make your way through the cave all the way to the end, then climb down the hole using your rope to find the boss.

Giant Mole

A rather self-explanatory boss, wouldn’t you say? But you might be wondering how it got this way, and you’d be forgiven for doing so. This was originally your average mole before it came into contact with a growth potion that makes it the boss it is today. Thankfully, this starter boss isn’t too much for you to deal with. You should still pay attention to the fight however, as it can be a great opportunity for you to learn the mechanics of combat and bossing in general.

Finding the Giant Mole involves teleporting to Falador. From there, we need to head to Falador park. You will find a plant root structure here, so enter it and make a session to get the fight underway.

King Black Dragon

We learn by doing when playing RS3, and this is a great boss to challenge yourself with. You need to make sure that you are fully prepared for this fight if you are going to overcome it, but it isn’t as difficult as other challenges in the game where bosses are concerned. This dragon does stand out in that it has three forms of dragonfire, which include freezing, shocking and poisonous dragonfire at their disposal.

To find the King Black Dragon, teleport over to Edgeville then you’ll find the artefact to the north-west and north of where the Monastery is. Make sure that you have Deflect Magic and Protect from Magic on, and you can make this fight much easier. With super antifires you can really have an effect on the damage too.

Chaos Elemental

Within the depths of the Wilderness you will find a disturbing entity known as the Chaos Elemental. With its wild attack patterns it can put you off and also out for the count, so you do need to exercise caution when approaching.

There is a pretty fast route to getting to the boss. You can teleport to Edgeville then go to the southern area of the bank. Here you will find ruins, so enter them and find a lever. Once you pull it, you will be entering the Deep Wilderness, so make sure you are at the required level. Go out of the Deserted Keep then head east. In this area you will come across the Chaos Elemental where you can start the fight. Have Protect from Magic and some decent food in your inventory and you should do fine.

Dagannoth Kings

This boss presents three dagannoths, including Dagannoth Rex, Dagannoth Prime and Dagannoth Supreme. You are going to struggle if you aren’t prepared for this scrap, but luckily you can take them down pretty easily if you have a group, and they’re easy to get to as well.

All you have to do is head over to the Grand Exchange. Here you can buy a Dagannoth Kings teleport to take you straight to the bosses. With a group, you can simply go in and tank the kings in the first bout, then pick them off until the fight is done. Supreme is weak to melee, Prime is weak to ranged, and Rex is weak to magic. With that knowledge, you’ll do well in this particular battle.

Conclusion

These are all low-level RS3 bosses for beginners to take on. Bossing is something that you will get used to as you progress through the game, and the challenges will get more fierce as you do. However, so will you, and your experience will continue to grow so that you’re ready to take on even the deadliest of foes that RS3 throws at you.
