Jamming to the Beats: FIFA 18 Soundtrack

By | February 8th, 2018 | Categories: FIFA

In an international platform that places artist on the world stage, FIFA 18 is a perfect way for artists to showcase their best work. Whether the world was familiar with their music or if they were just introduced to it now through the FIFA 18 Soundtrack, either way, their songs are being exposed to hundreds of thousands of players all across the world.

From year to year, FIFA has upgraded not only their game along with graphics, player attributes, celebrations and other features but their soundtrack as well, introducing new artists and implementing popular tunes into their soundtrack. Here to change the game again, the FIFA 18 soundtrack is here to not only entertain you while you’re playing but also to send you into a  world of cultural integration and introduction.

As a perfect representation of the world’s game, the FIFA 18 Soundtrack has over 40 songs from all over the world, by artists from over ten different countries.

From your favorite songs you’ve heard on the radio to other songs that have been played on radios all around the world to never before heard songs, the soundtrack has new and old artists alike.

Thank You Spotify

Available on Spotify, the FIFA 18 Soundtrack by EA Sports FIFA features all 45 tracks from the game. From songs made in Spanish to English to French, the music genre also varies from indie alternative, world sounds, and hip-hop. To cover the indie persuasion, the soundtrack features Portugal. The Man, The Amazons, and Slowdive. They also have some artists previously featured on FIFA coming back for more, so although you might not be familiar with the artist, you’ll swear you know the sound.

However, if you are looking for something new, you can check out London bands, Danish groups and other artists that released soundtracks never heard before. These tracks were specifically made just for the newest version of the game.

The soundtrack includes new songs from Lorde, Portugal. The Man, The XX, The War on Drugs, and many more. These songs are only available in the game and now through the FIFA playlist on Spotify.

The soundtrack is also a great opportunity for never-before-heard songs to make their debut to the world. With such a broad range of audience coming from a multitude of countries, FIFA 18 is a perfect broadcast to send the original songs of these artists out to the world.

Some of the first-timer bands who are new to the soundtrack of FIFA 18, are Los Angeles’ Sir Sly, Tom Brennan from the United Kingdom, and from Kimbra, a New Zealand artist. This big break in their career will help them not only gain exposure but also gain a following. The fact that their soundtracks are also now available on Spotify grouped in on a highly popular album and also on the game itself will give them the opportunity alone that they’re looking for to be able to spread their music to the world.

This isn’t just it either. Throughout the season, FIFA 18 has promised newcomers, special updates and surprises that will come later after the release which was earlier this year.

That’s not just it with surprises, either. Not only does FIFA 18 have a ton of newcomers and new songs and soundtracks, the update also features never seen before uniforms for a limited time. Not only have these uniforms never been worn on television by soccer players across the world, they have never been seen before, period. These song artists also could become fashion artists within the game FIFA 18.

Interestingly enough, these artists also could create and design kits! These all-new, special edition team kits were particularly designed by the artists themselves. The artists that designed some uniforms for FIFA were Catfish and the Bottlemen, Bloc Party, Zhu, Saint Motel, Capital Cities, Glass Animals, and Lemaitre. Those players who had pre-ordered the game were able to receive access to these special edition kits.
