What’s going with game consoles?
FIFA 18 launches September 29th for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox360, and PS3. Yes, you read correctly, The game coming to the Switch. Due to limitations of the console, there have been a few cutbacks on content to meet the Switch requirements. One of the biggest, noticeable differences will be the visual absence of the Frostbite engine. Although a custom-made engine will be running FIFA 18 on the Switch, Players will still have a visually appealing version of the game running at 60FPS. The Switch version will not include “The Journey” game mode but will have more limited versions of both “Career mode” and “Ultimate Team.” With these small downsides, there is always an upside, especially when it comes to the switch and its functionality. The console will have full functionality of the Jy-Cons, and it’s able to connect to other Switch consoles for an expanded multiplayer experience.
